Excellent service! Nice little coffee shop to visit if you're in town for the day like we were. The ladies were pleasant and our drinks came out in short order right before a little rush hit.

This place was the highlight of my trip to Ketchikan. Its a cute little restaurant right downtown and had some of the best soup and sandwich combos i have ever experienced. A great staff who was always eager to help an old man like me and treated our entire party like kings. The mermaid decor is just icing on the cake! Go to this place!

Amazing bakery and coffee house! 10/10 would recommend!

It was my first time eating mermaid! Fresh, caught right outside the shop! But really you have to order the Flat Mermaid! Delicious quesadilla stuffed with all the breakfast essentials! Can get a little busy with all the cruise ships stopping in town but worth the wait for breakfast!

Really disappointing now that under new ownership. Bagels were burnt, fresh fruit listed on menu was forgotten, and coffee was super weak. Very irritated that I don't $30 on such a terrible breakfast.

My wife & I stopped during a rainy walk around day and this cafe was perfect. The Alaskan Poor Boy was a smokey shmear of deliciousness, Philly Cheese was piled with meaty, cheesy perfection, tomato soup was spot on and warmed us up. Coffee was solid and the apple pie we shared for dessert was made with love. Even better than my grandma's. Sweet Mermaid's should be a must stop when getting off the ships in Ketchikan. But the shop is small, with 7-8 ladies/daughters working behind the counter and kitchen, so don't be rude if it takes them a minute to catch up. This place is legit. Wish them many years of good business.

I was arranging a birthday surprise of red velvet cakes on the Oosterdam cruise ship. I was unable to get to the bakery to pick up. I asked if they could deliver to the ship and hand them over to security at the gate. It was a lot to ask! But not only did they pull off the stealth delivery, the cakes were a huge hit with the birthday boy! Thanks guys!!

This was one of the first places we came across after getting off the ship. But I didn't want to get a whole bunch of treats right away without knowing what other goodies I might find! However, have a full afternoon of exploring, I knew I had to go back because it looked to be the yummiest place I'd found!

It was really hard to decide because they had SO MANY good looking options! But I eventually decided on the Goody Bar and the Knock-You-Naked Bar. The Goody was small and rich - it had a thick layer of dark chocolate ganache on top. And the layer of PB was the perfect amount of salty and crunch. The Knock-You was about 1.5 in. x 3.5 in., so pretty huge! It was a chocolate chip blondie with thick swirls of caramel. The caramel was caramelized and rich with flavor in some areas, and soft and gooey in others.

Both were absolutely wonderful and I would absolutely get them again!

I will note that this place does offer wifi, but it is $5/hour.

Good drink selection as well as the ability to to sit down and have breakfast. Very pleased with their service.

The staff are so friendly. The portions are generous and the food is so tasty! I'll definitely be back every time I visit Ketchikan.
