I went here a while ago and this place was so great i went to come back. Way better than Starbucks.

Really enjoyed my coffee at this cute downtown coffee shop where they roast their own beans on site. Good decor, records for sale, stage for live music. I had read that they had good sandwiches (one of the top places to eat in Fairbanks) but the only food they had for sale came from their food service provider (thus 4 stars instead of 5).
I got their special spiced hot chocolate, xocolat, but in a mocha format. It was very good. Not too sweet. Complex.
The bagel pictured was very good as well (jalapeno cheddar w peanut butter). I actually forgot that I'd ordered it and then forgot again when I wrote the review. Better take one star off for myself!
If only they had more food!

Vibes- immaculate. Coffee- tasty, even with no sweetener. Pastries- literally SO TASTY. 5/5

A nice, simple cafe with good coffee. I had a latte with honey. Friendly service and they should be bringing back live music this summer.

Quaint, cute, cozy, inviting, quiet, comfortable & friendly. Just the place to relax and re-caffeinate. Good, locally brewed coffee, too!

Awesome little quirky place. Great coffee and food. Sometimes has live music. Local art displays.

We loved the place specially Miriam’s kindness! She helped us a lot with our roadtrip!

The coffee has always been decent, and I would go there from time to time. My wife and daughter go there fairly regularly and get some cocoa and sweets. Today was the last time. I walked in, with a mocha I had already, as I hadn't planned on going there (I just missed the bus). I was going to get a muffin or something. Before the door had even finished closing, the clerk barked "Sir (with the tone that really means the opposite) you can't have outside drinks in here." I explained my situation and asked to buy I muffin, but she doubled down on her rude tone and rule. Honestly I wouldn't be upset had it not been for her condescending tone (the rule is sorta understandable). I am certain it was because I was wearing a heavy jacket and a backpack, and she made assumptions about my economic status, and apparently treats people based accordingly. We will not be going there anymore.

Best coffee I have ever had. I always get a mocha when I go. Also everyone is so nice and friendly.

The atmosphere is great, and I really like the homemade soups and sipping chocolate. Unfortunately the coffee is super gross, almost like something goes wrong with the beans in the roasting process. Friends I have taken here say the same thing.
In response to the owner: Yes, it is, like, my opinion. But as a small business owner responding to a longtime resident of Fairbanks who loves coffee, prefers to purchase from small local businesses, and has spent money in your establishment at least 50 times, you should care about my opinion. I would have come back in to purchase non-coffee items but after your unprofessional and uncaring response, I will not. Thanks.
