Best breakfast sandwich in town!!
Friendly, good service and great coffee too. Fresh, gourmet french fries like I haven't had in years.
Will miss it when I leave Denali...

Wonderful staff and food. Good breakfast alternative to lodge across road. Indoor and outdoor dining.

I ate here twice in the same day and honestly it was so good I could have had every meal in Denali at the Black Bear.

Ordered the bean burger, was half cooked and raw. Service is not that good, they didn't bother to even hear my complaint.
Otherwise, a great place for coffee with nice views and seating areas. I hope they improve on their food quality and service.

Fantastic Gluten free baked goods! Huge variety with smart ingredients, delicious and healthy too! It's a rare treat for my daughter and I to be able to order AND enjoy any food. We loved the ambiance, service and offerings. Highly recommend.

This place was a bit disappointing considering the other google reviews here. The whole place is a little pretentious considering how not good it was. When we got here and asked about the seating arrangement, the woman was extremely rude. In case you were wondering it’s an order at the counter, seat yourself arrangement, clear your own table. The place is extremely tiny and the bathrooms are outside.. yeah no joke. They bragged the coffee is from Ethiopia, and sell the beans, but somehow they messed up the roasting since it was terrible.
For food, we ordered the Denali breakfast and the breakfast sandwich (which comes with scrambled eggs, not fried). The only remarkable thing was how absolutely fine it was. They could use some seasoning on everything. It was overpriced generally but especially in light of the fact that the staff is rude as hell and the food is mediocre but billing itself as this hipster cafe. All in all it was fine but I wouldn’t go again.

Organic foods, baked and prepared onsite. Great service, delicious food. They close early, so get there before 1:30 if you want to enjoy what they have to offer. I would definitely stop again.

If you want the 100 year old sourdough flapjacks get there early. If you miss it the biscuits and gravey are delicious.

Okay spot, coffee not bad, some yummy pastries. Was hoping for more Alaskan and local atmosphere for a coffee shop in Denali and that the Food Network claims (in a huge sign above)... “The best coffee shop in Alaska”. Pretty limited food menu. Really hard to find using Google map, not sure the pin is in the right spot... can be tricky to get to if you don’t turn in the right place.

This place was great! The food and drink were a little pricey (especially considering they ask that you bus your own table, which I usually do anyways), but the food was delicious! I'd definitely dine here again. The staff were friendly and they had our order out promptly and somebody even came out and called our name to ask a few questions about how we wanted our food prepared, which was definitely appreciated rather than making an assumption.
