The Southern Grind is southern beach chic. Beautiful, relaxing and charming atmosphere! The decorative flair & touches with color choices are so awesome. Adds to the relaxation. The staff is so fabulous and the food is delicious! I ordered the Hot Chocolate with no vanilla and it is the best hot chocolate, ever!!

Coffee and sandwich shop right off hotel lobby. Great coffees and breakfast fair is great. Also quaint gift shop with plenty of beach-themed items. Staff is friendly and helpful.

The iced coffee and shrimp basket were both great. The customer service, on the other hand, wasn’t near as good. Two of the female workers were constantly business making drinks, cleaning and running food to the customers. The third girl stood at the counter talking to her friend pretty much the whole time. Not a very nice first image for tourists, much less locals.

This was a great visit! I enjoyed the food and amazing coffee! I went hoping to try their version of Highlander Grog which is my absolute favorite coffee flavor. Instead we were pleasantly surprised by Jamaican Me Crazy. It's great work or without creamer. Sorry folks the only sweet coffee I do is White Mocha Latte and theirs did not disappoint. It wasn't overly sweet and I could actually taste the creamy foamy latte instead. This was a stark contrast to a popular chain with lattes that taste more like syrup than a true latte. The breakfast was hot, fresh, and simple. It was flavorful and delicious which paired nicely work the hot beverages. I highly recommend this stop for a pleasant staff, calm atmosphere, and beautiful merchandise.

Let me start out with the fact that food was very good. However they did not have syrup for the Belgian waffle. They missed an order bacon and the lady from the kitchen came out said they missed it but if you want it you will have to go back and pay for it.

Nondescript coffee, very similar to the Community coffee I have at the hotel. The price is appropriate at least. Asked for eggs and bacon and only received eggs (realized later they only rang in eggs). Very friendly staff. I hope the bag of coffee I purchased is better.

This place was sooo amazing that we went back in and ordered 2 more drinks before starting our journey home. We come to the beach 2-3 times a year and it is safe to say this is our new coffee go-to! I recommend the White Mocha Frappe with extra shot of espresso and caramel in the cup. It is sooo good!!

The best coffee shop in Orange Beach. Recommend the Honeybee latte iced with almond milk.

Forget all the cookie cutter coffee shops (looking at you bucks) and get your fixin here. The espresso and lattes are well crafted and on point. Beautiful beach atmosphere and shopping included.
My daily go to was a doppio and mocha or milky way latte. My wife loved the cold brew as well if you are into that.
