Great place to get gelato. I also hear they have really good coffee but I don’t drink it and couldn’t tell you first hand.

Bait and switch
I haven't had their coffee, but the food was OK. We ordered three sandwiches (at $8.50 each according to the menu), but we're charged $12 each. No big deal, but considering their menu has handwritten corrections already, you would think that the new owners could make additional corrections. Just make sure you know what you are paying for.

The coffee may be good, but the service is seriously lacking. Multiple orders after ours received their food first. No one bothered to go check on our food until they were prompted. Food finally arrived cold. Numerous customers waited to place an order while the staff gathered behind the bar chatting with each other.

The baristas are very knowledgeable about the drinks they serve! Loved the beverages recommended to us! The breakfast sandwiches were good, too!

I was only there for a meeting, but the atmosphere and service were both wonderful.

Serda’s is located right down the street from the hotel we stayed at during this trip to Mobile. I dropped in twice for a great, well made cappuccino and pastry. The first day we visited we ordered breakfast. My husband ordered the salmon bagel and I ordered oatmeal. Both were great and hit the spot. Definitely a good place to stop, they have breakfast and lunch options plus wonderful coffee products.
