PIPER AND LEAF Tea & Coffee Shop

As a Brit who is mad about all things "tea" I was excited to discover this spot. Tucked away in the rear courtyard of Lowe Mill, "on the dock", this place has a calm and peaceful atmosphere. They have a wonderful selection of teas of all different varieties, all of which have remarkably imaginative names. I ordered one called Monk's Meditation, which apparently contained catnip! It was delicious.
The service is excellent and the staff encourage tasting the different teas before settling on one. They know their stuff.
Seating is limited, but there are spots outside on the dock where one can sit and enjoyed a quiet beverage. I highly recommend this place.

The staff was friendly and helpful. The tea they made for me was great and the two I have tried since bringing leaves home have been great. The shop was a little awkward to navigate as it is sloped since I had a stroller but the staff helped me get in and out so it worked out fine (may have been a problem with larger strollers or a wheelchair.) The shop seemed to have an event going on or having a training day while I was there but even though it was packed I was helped quickly and staff made sure to ask if I had any questions. It was a great place and I will go back next time I am in Huntsville.

Piper & Leaf has been a great place and a cozy establishment since my first visit. I regularly go on Tuesday every week being from Florence, as it is a bit far, but I'm always pleasantly surprised on every trip and the assortment in teas is just phenomenal. I always ask for an iced tea no matter the weather because they are simply so well made and full of flavor. Maybe open one in Florence some time soon? That would be wondrous and a little slice of paradise for my work week commutes. My trips to the Lowe Mill location, however, are worth every minute I take getting there. Can't wait to come by again next week!

Piper and Leaf is great tea from a family owned, Southern family. They care about local farmers and use local ingredients. The Lowe Mills location is fun and funky and a delight to visit. Customer service is always superb. And above all else, the tea is absolutely amazing. The staff is always willing to give you the best tips on out to brew hot or cold. I love Piper and Leaf.

Absolutely delicious tea! Their summertime chai is the best chai I've ever had, and I've been tasting every chai I could get my hands on for half my life. The staff are always super friendly and nice, and it's so fun to try the samples! A bit pricey, but for the quality, flavor, and re-steep potential, totally worth it! I'd love it if they started offering soy, coconut, or oat milk in addition to almond milk. Got to have the frothers and am lactose intolerant but I don't like almonds.

So many flavors of teas! They do have different daily samples to try and that's a good thing because it's hard to choose what flavor (ALL SO GOOD)! Very knowledgeable staff, they helped me find a tea in several flavors that my hubby can drink without causing kidney stones.

Very friendly staff and amazing tea. Ask them about making a quart of concentrate of your favorite tea.

Best tea. Always love when they come to Nashville. The peach iced tea is the perfect way to cool off in the summer.

While I have never visited a retail shop, I purchased tea at the Columbus country living fair and I was hooked. The staff was so friendly and the front porch special tea was unforgettably tasty. I mad a second purchase when they began selling tea sachets. I love supporting small businesses and this one is all around awesome! Great tea, great business!

Helpful and friendly (covid compliant) staff, clean and well decorated environment and if you're adventurous, ask the barista to make you a good blend. They've never disappointed me.
