In downtown Huntsville we tried Honest Coffee Roasters, everything was fresh and tasty. It was a really fun atmosphere with bumping music and really great staff! I had their brown sugar and cinnamon latte it was the perfect balance of being a sweet drink but not overly sweet. I also had the breakfast sandwich it was really good. My partner had their grilled breakfast burrito and really enjoyed it.

This place is amazing! The space is super great and clean looking. They also have plants that all have their own names, and that just tugs at my heart.
We stopped in for a mid-afternoon snack, as our breakfast place had not lived up to our hopes. We each got an acai bowl, and they were all delicious. One of us got a coffee, but he is young and can drink coffee after 2:00 p.m. 🤣

I'd love to come back here next time I'm in Huntsville to get some coffee, as everything looked and smelled delicious.

Highly recommend the bowls, and seriously consider getting a small instead of a large because the small was plenty big enough! 😳

Presentation is the first thing to excite and this place did not disappoint! Coffee and food was delicious & beautiful. We tried the Bees Knees which is a salted honey and cinnamon latte along with the breakfast burrito that was cooked in a panini press. A must try on both!

Amazing coffee shop! So cute too- they have so many plants that they’ve named. They have a few different baked goods like muffins and cookies but none of it really stood out to me. There's 2 seating areas so plenty of space to sit down and do work or just relax and enjoy a coffee. Their menu is pretty simple. Syrup options aren't listed but they have a few specialty lattes.

I don't normally order hot lattes but it was so cold so I got the bootlegger latte, which has their house-made caramel bourbon sauce. It comes in 2 sizes- 8 oz and 12 oz, but the barista told me they have the same amount of espresso (2 shots) so I got the 8 oz and I was pleasantly surprised at how good it was! It's not bitter at all and has a nice mellow, smooth taste. It also has a pretty design if you take off the lid.

Honest Coffee Roasters is probably my go to place for coffee when I’m near downtown Huntsville! The staff is friendly and welcoming, and they’re always so busy. Clearly I’m not the only one that likes them! I took my sister here for breakfast and she really enjoyed it, too! We both got the seasonal drinks and they were both delicious, so full of flavor. The atmosphere is very earthy and fun, lots of seating and plenty of large tables for people with a larger group or wanted to sprawl out and study!

Unique use of space in dowtown Huntsville AL. Great little spot for coffee or a quick bite to eat. Outside tables which are perfect for the cooler months of the year. Staff was cordial and responsive.

I had the tofu breakfast burrito and maple latte. My husband had a sausage egg and cheese bisquit.
The resturant was really packed when we got there but the service was fast and great. The food was ok, the tofu in the burrito was very dry, my husband said his bisquit was ok nothing to great. The coffee was amazing. For what we got it was expensive for bfast.

Five stars! This place’s great reviews speak for themselves and hold true. One of my favorite iced lattes and would absolutely stop back if I was ever in the area! Walked with our coffees the short distance down to the water and sat out enjoying the beautiful spring weather :) Thanks for making our morning HC Roasters!

Honest Coffee Roasters became our morning spot while visiting Huntsville.

The vibe is chill but vibrant, organized but busy. The staff handled a really busy crowd with ease.

During our visits we tried the vegan breakfast burrito, kona açaí bowl, breakfast sandwich with tomato and avocado added, vegan breakfast bagel sandwich, and nitro cold brew.

The açaí bowl was probably the best we ever had anywhere! Piled with fruit and really good honey. The consistency was perfect and didn’t turn to soup like at some places.

The nitro cold brew was balanced and smooth. The size was good for the price too.

The breakfast sandwich was good but didn’t seem like a sourdough like the menu depicted. That was a bit disappointing but pretty good flavor overall.

The vegan burrito was pretty tasty but a bit on the small side. The salsa tasted store bought so it didn’t really contribute to the good flavors of the burrito. When I added avocado for $1.50 it was served with a 1/4 of an avocado (about an inch and a half of meat on the side).

Unfortunately I found the vegan bagel sandwich absolutely awful. The “cream cheese” tasted like coconut oil and was applied way too thick on the sandwich. The taste and texture made the whole thing off putting. There are a ton of wonderful vegan spreads you can buy in store or easily make. So why they were using this spread was unknown. The vegan egg and sausage were also the worst I’ve had. I regularly eat beyond breakfast sausage and have had other brands too (MorningStar and Impossible) that are delicious and would have been better options. When I don’t eat eggs I will eat JustEgg and find their product delicious. I’m not sure what they were using but it was so dry and sad looking. I would recommend serving different brands of substitute products (sausage and egg) or completely reworking this menu item all together.

Overall we liked our experience here and it seems to be really popular with the locals. Caleb took our order both days and was a very genuine and knowledgeable human. We were happy to have them as our person of contact for ordering.
We may be a bit spoiled by our coffee shop food in St. Louis, MO so that likely plays into the review.

Either way, this is a good stop for all day food and drinks. Price point is a bit higher than the quality and execution dictates but they keep a lot of staff on one shift so it pans out.

I really enjoyed my experience at Honest Coffee. Payton was super helpful making recommendations for me and my boyfriend. She suggested the strawberry shortcake latte. My boyfriend got that and I ordered the cottage core latte. Both iced per her recommendation. I was nervous the strawberry shortcake would be too fruity for first thing in the morning but I ended up like it more than mine! We also each ordered the breakfast burrito with salsa. It was delicious! I ate mine plain and my boyfriend added the salsa.

The only problem I have is the price, which really can't be helped. So give Honest Coffee a try. You won't regret it!
