Dragon's Forge Cafe

The atmosphere is nice, I like their events, and my friends say the drinks are good, but there are no vegetarian options on the food menu (besides pastries), and from what my meat eating friends have said, most of the food they ate wasn't very good.
Its my favorite place to sit down and eat at at lowe mill, but I suggest getting food from somewhere else and only get a drink or pastry there.

Coffee is top tier and the people there are always the friendliest. If ya love Coffee check out the Dragon Forge.

We scheduled a high tea for 4 and were so looking
forward to it as the pictures online looked amazing!
When we arrived we were pointed to our table in the
back not seated, our food was brought out and after
they there was zero interaction with any staff. No water
at the table, silverware or napkins. About 15 minutes
after our food was brought over we had to seek out an
employee to tell them what tea we wanted, they should
have been asked when the food was brought or prior to.
We were finished eating before we even got our tea.
For 63 bucks for a high tea service these are things that
should be done. The food was only ok, sandwiches were
house made but all the pastries you could tell were store
bought. Zero service, zero follow up and definitely not
worth the money.
You cannot advertise a high tea if you're not sure how to
put one on. A high tea has specific standards. Yes the
restaurant is cute, the decor is neat it looks like a castle
but the high tea and service was definitely a let down.

My kiddos really enjoyed this place! Super fun and good drinks and food. Plus once you're done there, there's all of Lowe Mill to explore.

Great atmosphere and delicious coffee! There are tons of interesting things around the shop that are more than they seem. The clocks, art, and many other items there are all made by the owners. Theyre always friendly and working hard to make people happy. My wife and I both love it there.

The staff is wonderfully friendly and very knowledgeable about their business. The specialty latte I had was excellent, a perfect blend of flavors none overpowering the others. They obviously know their craft well.

The shop itself makes me think of Merlin, the wizard, personal tower. Comfortable and relaxing but with little things that stand out, yet fit in.

Great place to go and grab a bite too eat or a nice latte, or even both, and relax! They are reasonably priced and the staff is very nice! I often sit in one of the chairs by the fireplace with a latte and read books

The only reason why I will give place a second star is because of the girl that took our order. I am rating this place according to what it is suppose to be, which is a cafe, which should sell coffee. For 2, 16 oz. coffees you will pay as much, or even more than starbucks. However, if it's going to be as much as Starbucks without the Starbucks branding it should be a heck of a lot better than said Starbucks. I love coffee specifically for the caffeine and that's it, so I could care less or even care to critique that this actually tasted like coffee. It was Horrible! It tasted so bitter, not only that but after overpaying for the coffee I proceeded to put cash in the tip jar (which I don't care to do anyway) and didn't even get a simple, "thank you". Not only that but my daughter thought her coffee was horrible as well and she's not picky at all. I have no idea why this place is 4 stars.

This place is so amazing and delightful! The decor is amazing. The drinks and snacks we had were wonderful. Can't wait to go back and take advantage of the awesome photo spot throne!
