Traveling through and found this local gem. Amazing food!!! Great atmosphere. I can understand why it’s so busy. I live about 1.5 hours, and will be back.
I have already asked my husband to bring me for a date morning 😏

Canadian Bakin is not only a carb Heaven; they actually have really great healthy and light lunch options. The menu is comprehensive, the food is delicious, and the coffee is too. I always love coming here for lunch. The ONLY thing I have feedback on is that most of the staff at the order counter does not know how to greet and take orders. I don’t know if it’s because of inexperience or negligence, but don’t expect a “Hello, welcome, what can I get for you?” I frequent this place often, and every time I’ve come by, I’m often the one to greet first, to ask how it’s going, and all I get are one word answers and blank stares before I actually say “can I get…” to start my order. Today it happened again. It’s actually laughable how ironic this is especially considering their name. Other than the service at the order counter, this place is fantastic. I love the atmosphere, the carbs theme, the servers that bring out the food. Good place to eat.

A very hopping business. They easily need more seating. We originally ordered for dine in, but no tables opened up and we changed it to go. It appears that it is a meet up hang out and several tables were still chatting after having finished.

I really wanted to like CB. I missed the bagels in nyc and thought maybe I would finally get a decent bagel in Huntsville. Unfortunately, I have yet to find a good bagel. The ones at CB are super pale and taste similar to a regular panera bagel. They are consistently out of stock on any "new" items they release, even coffee items. Went to try the new "Horse Girl" cold brew and they were out of the cold foam. For some reason they still put the spices on just the cold brew, so my first sip was a mouth full of gritty spices.

It feels as if they're banking on most hsv people having no other decent bagel options-which is true, there are none- but I feel the bagels left a lot to be desired, and the cold brew was not worth six dollars. Service was moderately slow for just a toasted bagel and cold brew, although friendly.

Best sandwiches and bagels in town! The "horse girl" specialty coffee drink is such a great treat! The staff are always cheery and so helpful. Looking forward to my next visit!

Best Pretzels and Bagels in the South! So glad Canadian Bakin is located in my home town of Huntsville! Lucky us! You can't beat the the Notorious BLT - Delicious! and I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE the new Horse Girl drink! Bring on the carrot cake syrup and cream cheese topping!

I have a problem and it’s called finding this gem of a place while being on a cut. The location was recommended to us by a Facebook member of the Huntsville FB group (or owner, can’t tell) and I went as promised the following morning. First, the coffee must be talked about. I’m pretty sure it’s from Good Company because their beans have a similar taste, and we really like that because most coffee places in Huntsville switched to light roast and we don’t like light roast. The coffee was dark roast and our Americano’s and lattes were top notch. I love the coffee here more than coffee in most HSV coffee shops. Next, I ordered the Q-Becco sandwich on sourdough and was very impressed by the bread. My spouse got the BLT on sourdough and loved hers equally. Chips on the side were yummy too. The thing that really boggled our minds was how amazing their bagels and normal cream cheese are. I got the everything bagel and normal cream cheese because I just wanted to try them after seeing all these other reviews, and I was really surprised by how chewy, soft, and delicious it was. The girls working at front were really sweet and nice. We’re going to stop by soon again to get lots of bagels for every day home use and try out their other breads because we’ve found our favorite non-pastry bakery.

Excellent brunch. I had tomato soup and a new kind of bagel sandwich with an espresso drink that tasted like a slice of cake.
Could use more seating, but it was raining when I went so it is what it is.

Awesome staff, awesome food, and awesome drinks. Update: They're still awesome in every way.
