Our first time there since moving to the area. Wanted breakfast but they had switched over to lunch because they were so busy in the morning they ran out! (Must say something about their breakfast 😉) Ordered the mushroom Swiss burger & grilled chicken club. Both were really good! Guess we need to get there when they open at 6am for breakfast so we can see for ourselves. The only reason we didn't give 5 stars... food was slow coming to the table and not super busy. Other than that... We'll be back!

Fantastic breakfast! I probably shouldn't say this but we showed up right at 1030 on Sunday. It is the time for the kitchen to switch to lunch. They were kind enough to still make us breakfast. It just so happened that they were bringing the lunch items to the buffet when I saw the fried chicken. So along with my delicious breakfast I also had a piece of their fried chicken. It truly was the best breakfast in my life! Thanks to all of the staff, you are all amazing!

All of the food I've ordered has been amazing. However I have to knock off one star for the buffet. I've only had it once so far, but the food wasn't very hot so I was a little afraid to eat some of it. I couldn't recommend what's on the menu more though. All of the fresh food is amazing. My favorite is the burgers, but that's almost always my favorite at a restaurant. My wife also says to try the grilled chicken fingers. They are actually really good.

This place was AWESOME !!! I was too tired to cook today but I don't like to eat out because the food you get out is never as good as what you can cook at home. This food was ! It was hot and fresh. The catfish fillets were perfectly golden brown and juicy, not greasy and dried out and crunchy like other places. ..it was light and crispy . The hamburger steak was juicy as well. The collard greens were perfectly seasoned and spicy. The hushpuppies had flavor. The cook even came out to ask how our meal was! The staff was friendly and acted as if they were happy to be at work...The portions were plentiful and the strawberry shortcake was better than what you'd get at a high end restaurant.I will be back. This is my two sons ( 3 and 1) favorite place to eat breakfast in the mornings when we head in the direction they yell eat till we get there. They have been sweet to us since we moved to hazel green. They are never pushy with the way we order food, because my 3 year old will only eat certain textures and they always bring it straight to him. Today my 3 year old dropped his yo go box of bacon and one of the sweet employees bought him a whole new box. ❤️ Kind hearted employees are hard to come by!!! We will see y’all next week as usual!

Food here is really good. I have to say I was quite skeptical and I was actually pleasantly surprised.

Usually get food to go. Food is very good especially the hot boiled shrimp, we usually get the 1 lb plate with two sides and hush puppies. usually have a special on Wednesday night. Breakfast is very good also.

This was my first time eating there. The service was great. I had the bacon burger and fries. It reminded me of a good home cooked burger. I wish the fries were bigger they were small almost like little broken pieces but they were cut that way.

TLDR; My waitress was nice.
The food, it was bland and disappointing.

My expectations were low, but my mom had high hopes. Maybe we had found a gem, so I didn’t worry about it.

Alas, we waited forever for cold food. It wasn’t home cooking, it appeared as if the food was from the freezer. Once my hunger faded, it became unappetizing. I promise you, I have never been a picky eater.

I ordered a club sandwich and chili cheese fries. The sandwich was ok, but utterly basic. This is my food critic coming out, but the bacon was overcooked and the presentation was messy. The fries were cold and the cheese was sad and unmelted. The chili? Not what one would expect when ordering chili, and that was ever so slightly warm but probably the intimate deciders that this pile of fried wasn’t it chief.

My companions, being notoriously picky barely ate two bites. I finished quickly, and we all left with a terrible pit of dissatisfaction.

Maybe it was a bad meal. Maybe I ordered the wrong thing. Maybe I came in when something broke. I almost feel bad for such a negative review, yet here I am.

Thanks to my waitress, who changed it from 1 to 2 stars.

This was my first time there. The food was good but not amazing. It was busy but only had 1 waitress/cashier and 1 cook. It took over 30minutes for my food. (Fish and shrimp)
The waitress/cashier was upbeat and personable.
I might try it again during breakfast hours.
