Sweet Escapes

New business just opened in December. Came here on a whim with some friends and we had a wonderful experience! Delicious coffee, hot and cold, friendly service, and there's an escape room here! Just make sure you book a reservation for the escape room, and grab a coffee on your way out :D

When walking into Sweet Escapes, we were immediately impressed by the decor and Drew's (the guy behind the counter) friendliness: both were warm and inviting. Another pleasant aspect of this business is their use of a local coffee roaster (Rooster's Crow) and tea producer (Piper &Leaf). One area to improve would be their food offering/display.

Cute cozy coffee place. Custome coffee and desserts and excellent customer service. A slightly hidden gem. I really hope all locals and visitors will stop by. There's also a "hidden" lounge area. Not to mention this is a dual business, as they also have Escape Rooms here (hence the name)

Visiting from Dallas and was pleasantly surprised with this local coffee shop. Esthetically pleasing and comfortable to chill out in and Drew brews a fine cup of Java. I had the Driftwood (espresso, caramel pecan and salt) and it was the perfect level of sweetness and a cinnamon roll. If you’re local this should be a regular stop for you. We’ll be back next year!

So glad we found this coffee shop! Great coffee and amazing employees! Best coffee I’ve had in a long time. Highly recommend the Sweet Escape Coffee and the Campfire coffee.

Stopped at this local coffee shop this rainy afternoon for a pick me up espresso. Ordered the Bottom of the Barrel and Sweet Escape espressos. Drew, the barista, customized our order for our taste and even made me a second coffee when the first order was too sweet. Interior was nicely decorated for this lake town with a nice, cozy atmosphere. Peaceful piano music playing in the background made this visit relaxing and enjoyable. Support local coffee shops. I’ll visit often.

We had the best Christmas gift exchange and escape room experience here this afternoon! Will definitely go back for the coffee and another escape room!

Great coffee and food, and amazing service! I just wish I knew this place was here sooner. A sign or some update to the exterior to show that there’s a business here would be great. I thought it was still the eye doctor. Plenty of board games to spend time and hang out!

What an adorable place this us! The coffee is delicious! We had the caramel frappe and the hazelnut mocha coffee and they were both SO good! Its very reasonably priced! And the staff was super friendly and helpful! I cant wait to go back!

Came for the escape room and stayed for the drinks and atmosphere. The escape room is very well made with plenty of challenges and clues to discover with good difficulty. The staff is very helpful with not only the escape room but also the drink and snack service, they will work with you to try and get your drink just right and the way you like it, my personal favorite is the "Healing Honeysuckle" iced tea. Definitely recommend coming here for a fun time testing your wits and then relaxing with a nice drink.
