Red Cat is my go to coffee shop. Their signature lattes and teas always hit the spot (definitely try the abyssinian). Shop's proximity to railroad park is a huge plus. Sometimes hard to find a place to sit down but usually something opens up before you get the drink. Parking can be a little tricky but I just park by the labcorps building and walk down the block.

The cafe has a nice vibe to it; great place to get some work done. There was smooth jazz playing in the background. The staff is friendly and the drinks are reasonably priced.
It got to be uncomfortable because the AC was on really high. It was 54 degrees outside and the temperature inside had to be around 60. I had my jacket and gloves on most of my time there and had to leave because my hands and feet were freezing.

I enjoy the coffee here but I’m writing this review because the hours need to be updated to reflect the changes. I brought my dad for coffee on Sunday and the business was closed with a note on the door.

Nice little place downtown to grab some coffee and a snack. Friendly staff with a chill vibe. Love the outdoor seating and right across from railroad park so you can grab your drink and enjoy some fresh air. They even set out a water bowl for your furry friends to tag along! Always enjoy my time here!

This is my new favorite spot to do my remote work.
The coffee is always great, and there is a wide variety of food options. Also, the smoothies are phenomenal. Everyone who works here is really great, but Andres is my favorite because he remembers my name. (:

Coffee is so good and the staff is so nice!!

While the employees were nice, the iced latte that I purchased didn't taste great as the espresso seemed watery, lacked a good flavor and the Monin syrups never taste very good. The wait time for the drink to be prepared was fairly long too.

Excellent coffee! Probably the best in Birmingham! And very fairly priced. Also lovely ambiance.

Red Cat has always been one of my favorite places to go. And with this new location, it's hard for me to not be there. It has such a fun vibe, all while being unique to their first location.
Their coffees and smoothies will definitely have you addicted, and their menu is so tasty and different. They serve breakfast all day and crepes on the weekend.
But the best part of Red Cat, still, is how amazing the people are. They are not pretentious or rude and actually love seeing you come in. Its rare to see people working in an environment like this and still be joyful. You won't leave here unhappy. So go.

If you are a fan of getting your food in less than 45 minutes and having your order done correctly avoid this place! They only did half our order and the part they did was incorrect. When someone says "no bacon" and the cashier asks if you're sure and you say absolutely DON'T PUT BACON in it.
In response: I don't use the square app and it says very clearly above that it was at the Railroad Park location.
