The Bunnery Bakery & Restaurant

"The best club sandwich" was promised by the bunnery, but the quality of the turkey and ham left me wanting. I'd likely have been better off with a BLT, but the triple decker won me over at ordering time. The coleslaw was an excellent side, I found myself taking bites between those of the sandwich as it did better for the bread and toppings than the watery lettuce really could.

Being seated was an unpleasant ordeal, with staff openly correcting each other about the expected wait time. No names, no reservations, no call aheads. Demand is steady enough that they'll just get you seated whenever they "can". More stressful than it was worth to dine here on the weekend.

I got the regular breakfast and the waffle. I ordered my eggs over easy and they were very oily. The waffle was crispy and a little lighter as far as Belgian waffles go. The Starbucks coffee was strong and excessively bitter, so I would recommend not getting coffee here. The service was pretty good and our food came out quickly. I thought the food was ok for what you pay, but maybe some of the other menu items are better. I also got an apple turnover that was amazing! I will have to try their other baked goods when I am in Jackson again. The turnover was pretty big too. Overall, I’m not sure if I’d have breakfast here again, but I will be back for the baked goods. 3 stars for the breakfast, 4 because of the baked goods.

If you are looking for a place to have breakfast, this is it!! Nothing like a good coffee and muffin to start the day. It was our first time at Jackson and we didn't know where to go to find a good restaurant to have breakfast so I looked in a little book they had at our hotel and I can tell why they have The Bunnery Bakery as one of the restaurants they recommend for breakfast and a good coffee. The employees are nice, our food was delicious and on time, and the muffins are just amazing. I highly recommend this place at any time of the day.

This place serves most dishes with or made of eggs. The restaurant accommodated our request and gave us a dish without eggs. They substituted eggs with veggies in Huevos Rancheros. It tasted great! Would recommend it to friends!

Great breakfast place before a hike! I got the garden Benedict with sausage on the side and it was so good. The wild huckleberry pie was AMAZING, and the perfect level of sweetness! Wasn’t overly sweet. The florentine quiche was also very well made and the pastries were delicious!

Luckly I found this bakery on time to grab a pie and a sandwich before driving to the airport. The turkey sandwich was good, with crispy chips but the bread was a little dry. And the apple pie was crunchy, juicy and delicious! They became a lunch for 2 and made our time of delayed flight more pleasant!

Pretty fast moving line even though it’s long around 9:30am. Excellent coffee with top notch services. We had blueberry pancakes which is full of delicious berries. The OSM toast on the side of omelette is so good that you can’t miss it! The bakery is full of nice bread and wonderful pastries. A full score brunch place during our stay in Jackson. 😊

Beautiful bakery in a great town. Surpringly decent prices for a town known for excess and the rich. I had the smoked salmon eggs Benedict. Scared it down before I remembered to take a photo. Tons of fish included! And make sure to get a huckleberry and cream cheese croissant!

Will be back. May be a line to wait in because it's so tasty. Worth it!

The Bunnery is always a Jackson favorite and we were glad to be back after an absence due to Covid. It was great to return to a taste of the legendary coffee cake and other favorites, the place having the same charm and local atmosphere we have come to love. Just love this place, as their motto says "Get your buns in here"😃

I loved the atmosphere of this place and my server was amazing. I got the two-egg breakfast and a pancake with huckleberry add-ons and it was absolutely divine. Definitely recommend!
