I usually go to the HB’s in CO. & love their drinks. Was so excited one was coming to Cheyenne. Went right after it’s opening and drink wasn’t made correctly. On top of that, the girl at the window was requesting a tip before I’d even gotten my drink. Figured I’d just chalk it up to everything being new. Went back 2nd time and my coffee had no flavor. It was just coffee and milk. I Wanted to give them the benefit of a doubt so on my 3rd visit back, I ordered a Vanilla Chai latte and received an entire cup of just whipped cream. I had a friend with me and their drink also had no flavoring added so at this point I knew it wasn’t just me. I Decided I’d had enough, and went back through the window where their excuse was they were training and no CHAI was added to my drink?? I heard them saying they were actually out of Chai. Not acceptable. I was then given a free drink coupon and this HB is so bad, I don’t even care to use it. Won’t be going back to this location.
I was really excited to get a human bean close to me. However every time I go in here they get my order wrong. This is the only coffee shop that I've ever been to that thinks brave means 2% milk. If I wanted a strong coffee with 2% milk in it I would order that however I ordered a Irish cream breve everytime and every time they give me 2% milk with no syrup in it it's absolutely disgusting. I am done with this place and I will take my business back to city brew where they actually do what the customer asks.
Can’t seem to get my orders right. I asked for drip coffee poured over iced and they straight refused (it’s an iced americano) and everywhere else does it. So I had to do it myself with hot coffee in the car. It was filled with coffee grounds. Tried again today and they totally forgot cream. I’m not wasting my time or money. Also I was asked for a tip. Why would I tip when my iced americano with cream was made incorrectly? Staff can be overly rude too.
I really love the coffee but i shouldn't feel obligated to give a tip especially when we make several stops each week just to be handed a cup of coffee to me through the window. I feel tips should be given when your going above the general service. Other than that i would have gave 5 stars.
Wow!! This place has such huge potential. I love their cold brew with cold foam. It tastes the best in town and I tried them all. So, why only 2 stars? The customer service and management are severely lacking. At first I just thought it was during the cold opening, however it had gotten worse since then. My first issue was with pricing. Every time I ordered my standard drink I would be charged a different amount. The only prices on the board are a range of price and not an exact price next to the drinks. I asked several of the girls and the manager Michaela how I was being charged. None of the employees were able to tell me and said that the computer just tells them the price. I’ve also asked for a list of sugar-free flavors and I’ve been told they don’t have a list. When I asked Michaela about pricing she took my name and number and told me a manager would call me. This was over six weeks ago and no call. The second issue is the app. NONE of the barista‘s seem trained on how to use it. Twice now a Barista has gotten angry with me because she taps the rewards and then when I want to pay with my preloaded amount she says she can’t get the app to do that. she is the same one that when you walk up to the counter she just stares at you. There is no hello, how are you? Or what can I make for you today? very rude. I finally said yesterday, “Hello, do you just want me to order now?” I get so excited to get my coffee and then I am greeted with this kind of customer service? Basic social skills seem to be lacking with the customer service here, as well as basic training techniques. Can someone from corporate come to help this place before it is nonexistent ? It makes me sad because as I said the coffee is yummy. Lastly, the grass is unkept and the space that normally has a picnic table for people to enjoy their coffee at is nonexistent. My friend and I would love to have coffee there but end up having to use Culver's next door.
For specialty coffee, it is not that unreasonably priced. They have some of the best coffee I have had in a long time and plenty of options. The staff is usually beyond friendly and I always tip them just because they obviously go the extra mile to be nice to customers.
I typically love the Human Bean but today attitude was terrible!! I ordered a Tuscan sunset-less sweet with two extra shots of decaf expresso. Get to the window. The woman at window wants to confirm-two drinks one decaf. I said no-It’s just me and only need one drink and repeat what I ordered. She called the I assume shift manager who takes orders to help with her correct on the register. This woman states-“That is not what she ordered but We can void her order!” I CAN HEAR YOU & WTH!!! OF COURSE I KNOW WHAT I ORDERED!!! Talk about taking accountability for your mistake you made!!
