I would give this 0 stars if I could! I called in for a order for pick up. After giving my order twice (which it was still wrong) I asked if I could pay ahead of time so all I had to do was walk in and pick up the order. The lady on the phone told me yes 5 different times (FIVE) and then would ask some other random question. After getting frustrated that she wouldn't let me pay over the phone I gave up. When I walked in to pick up my order I heard staff talking to another customer about me with not very nice things to say!!!!! Was extremely disappointed!!!! Will NEVER go back. This is not my first time here and every time I have some issue and staff is rude!

What a place! This quaint bagel shop and it's friendly staff are a Cheyenne gem. They banter with customers and truly seem to enjoy their work and their bagesl. They run out of bagel with glee. If they are out, then they are out, and they are out because the bagels are GOOD! Every day has a special bagel or four to catch your attention. Your taste buds might be talking about the fiesta bagel or the lemon cranberry bagel for quite some time. A breakfast sandwich is always a good bet, but a parmesan bagel with garlic artichoke avacado cream cheese may just hit the spot. The place is no frills, those they save for the food.

Love this place. They have the only decent Bagels in town. You could not ask for a more friendly or great staff. Mark is a super guy.

Really good service and friendly. The bagels are the best! Not to mention it is local so that makes it even more appealing. Try it you won't be disappointed.

Great sandwiches, great service, and great bunch of people working there. I work on the other side of town so I must admit that I tend to forget it is here but I assure you that each and every time I come downtown, Morts is the first thing I think of.

Excellent customer service, clean and warm aesthetic, delicious and reasonably priced bagels, and they are Cubs fans! What more can you ask for?

Hidden gem! Amazing food! my only complaint is that I felt like I would have needed about 6 sandwiches to get full.... Small portion size (fair for the price)..... I recommend getting two sandwiches when ordering.

Some of the best bagels I've gotten outside of New York City. They take Covid-19 measures seriously, which is great. Very reasonable prices.

Mort's at this time is as good as it gets for bagels in Cheyenne. I like their finish (crust) which improves with light toasting, they are somewhat chewy (which I wish was more so like a New York bagel, but this isn't New York). If you like a more chewy bagel either get there early and see if they have any "day olds" or buy some and wait 24 hours to enjoy them (they really do get better). Fresh they suffer from the same problem that many other non-New York bagels do, "squishiness" or being so "bun like" that they need to use whipped cream cheese instead of block cream cheese or else the bagel gets crushed.
Mort's has a consistency in their product which means what you get one day will be like what you get the next. Their Salt Bagel has just the right amount of salt crust as do their Everything or any other "crusted" bagels. They have a wide selection of spreads and toppings from which to choose. The people who work here seem to really like being being here and that makes it all the nicer.
Mort's is somewhat of an institution in Cheyenne. They are part bagelry, coffee shop, part art gallery, part place to chill and visit while enjoying what they sell. It is not uncommon if you live in the area and dine in to have someone come in who knows you and say "hello." There is both and urban and small town quality to Mort's.
They have coffee good enough to drink black.
For all of these thing I would like to give them 5 Stars but confess I'm a diehard "NYC Bagel Snob". 4 stars is as good as it gets with rare exceptions outside of NYC, so 4 Stars is not a a slight in the least. It's simply being frank about a place I love yet isn't making what IMHO would be a 5 Star Bagel. That said, these are the best in Cheyenne at the time I write this. I think most people will enjoy what they offer even more than I do.

By far the best place in Cheyenne to get a bagel! The owners and staff are very friendly and make sure you're taken care of too. Highly recommend!
