Blue Gables Motel and Coffee Bar

Canadian alert!! Cute log cabin exteriors and grounds, but not very comfortable inside. Old and shabby, with uneven floors and lots of stains on ceilings, walls, carpet. The beds were like concrete; the pillows were hard and flat. No security, no deadbolt. Just the lock on doorknob.

But if it weren't for the discount offered, we would have gone elsewhere. And here's why...

The woman on the front desk was extremely rude, attacking Canada's healthcare as a response to another member of our party, who stated TO ME that she wasn't interested in the President's broadcast that was on. The woman on the front desk glared at us, then sneered at us when she discovered we were Canadian. She has no business imposing her politics on anyone--especially Canadians--regardless of what she overhears. And this was no way to treat potential customers.

Cabins are great for hunters or fishermen, but I don't recommend them to anyone looking for a comfortable sleep...or for Canadians.

New owner is working hard on this place! Clean and pleasant—nostalgic western feel. It was great to relax by the pool and to chat to the staff and other guests. :)

What a great place! Old fashioned and a great price and the best bed we've had on our entire trip! And a great way to meet new people. Very cozy and casual.

I don't drink coffee but I can say the rooms are great! a nice homey feel with quilted bedspreads, handmade table cloths and a very comfy bed. oh yeah and the best price in town

Very quaint. Owners were extremely friendly and helpful. Don't expect a luxury room. More on rustic side. We enjoyed our stay.

Owners are so sweet. Beautiful country setting. My room was cozy and comfortable. They allow pets.
Buffalo is a small Wyoming town that has a lot to offer.

An absolute must if your in the area ... quiet clean and comfortable within walking distance of lots of different restaurants

Was a perfect stop for our family of four. Pool was great, beds were comfortable. Definitely would stay here again!

I wasn't interested in the higher prices chain hotels and wanted a place typical for the western area. The furnishings are very moderate, but overall, it is very nice, clean, and comfy!
