Staff are polite. Clean store. We really enjoy the deli. The store is quite expensive but the specials and deals are pretty good if you're flexible on what you're purchasing.

I have been a customer of Wayne's Foods in Webster Wisconsin for approximately 10 years. Prior to my recent experience over the past few days, I considered them a reliable and convenient, albeit expensive, place to buy my groceries.
If you are looking to avoid a covid-19 infection, Wayne's Foods needs to be avoided. Despite what is posted on the doors as you enter the store, they do not enforce the wearing of masks. . .not for customers, and not for employees.
I have seen plenty of disturbing things with respect to covid-19 at Wayne's in Webster Wisconsin. I wear my mask, and I'm willing to let a few things slide.
But. But when you see employees of the DELI (yes the deli) working without face masks serving up food to customers, it's enough to make your stomach churn. As disgusting as it sounds, these employees are breathing and excreting virus particles on the food you are purchasing!
This is thoroughly disgusting. Beware!

Love this store. The staff is so friendly and the deli is the best!! There is a large selection and with the beer/liquor section, this is truly a one stop shop!!

Wayne's is very clean and caring for customer safety well stocked with essentials and some gourmet items fresh produce and a good selection of beer wine and other adult beverages. The staff is friendly and efficient and very helpful.

One star because the meat department is selling fresh meat that is past it’s use by or freeze by date. I purchased a $12 pork roast and looked up the day of the year after I got home and discovered it was past the use by date. They date the meat by 0-365 rather than day, month and year. This imo is only so you can’t easily figure out how fresh it is. I froze the day I purchased it and returned with the original receipt. The mgr was very pleasant but made it clear this was a one time return and won’t do it again. Why don’t they pull it and freeze it before the expiration date? Why don’t they reduce the price? Why don’t they date it like most foods? I guess it’s buyer beware. I hope they post a reply.

Lord almighty, this place is magical. They must have cured COVID, as masks were definitely optional. I feel blessed to know someone figured out the cure, please share your wisdom with the rest of the world!

Bought small apple pie for $7.99--hard, dry, barely edible . Returned it the next day. Clerk refused to refund because it still had 4 days to expiration. Left pie with clerk--will buy no more bakery goods from Waynes.
---Two days later---talked with Manager--I'm good--very personable and reasonable--me back at Wayne's

Great deli with my favorite fried chicken. A little spendy but a great place with lots of options for being up north.
