Best coffee around. Great place to visit or do some work and enjoy some wonderful coffee. Which is always fresh and hot, no serving hours old burnt coffee. Recently on a trip and couldn't wait to get home to Anodyne!

Terrible experience at this place, On Wednesday 02/02/2022 at 7:30pm at the Milwaukee public market location after having a lovely meal at St Paul’s we wanted to get some coffee. We stopped by since it was on our way out. The barista was in the corner chatting with someone obviously not working. She leaves the conversation and approaches the countertop. Proceeds to question us about not wearing masks and tells us that by company policy she cannot serve us coffee because we are not wearing masks. We told the young lady thank you and walked out. It’s just absurd to me that this is company policy, it’s absurd because there was a plastic shield between us, she was wearing a mask and the payment would’ve been done electronically. So she essentially was okay with approaching us not wearing masks but not serving us coffee. So it really makes me question the reasoning. Is it really in fear of Covid? ( she and I are most likely vaccinated).. is it laziness because it was near closing? Or was it just some mindless political narrative that they stand by? I think it’s just very disrespectful.

I would advise Anody to offer customers masks if they’re going to have such policy then maybe they won’t lose customers

Not that it’s relevant but,
I walked into the market wearing a mask, the lobster roll gets really buttery, I grabbed the mask and didn’t want to put it on my face anymore because I got butter on it.

Small space but wonderful staff and coffee. They have a great music selection with the right amount of noise to drown out neighboring conversations. I love to do work here. I will drive out of my way, past several other coffee shops to get coffee here!

Anodyne is my favorite coffee shop ever! I stop in at least once a week and get a bagel and iced honey bee latte. The iced honey bee latte is delicious and the best one I've ever had. I normally get a sesame bagel with veggie cream cheese, which is a solid snack. The employees are awesome and kind. One of the employees always walks my food and drink to my table, which I think is super nice.

Just went here for the first time today with my girlfriend after knowing about it for a while. Had the iced honey bee latte and it was super smooth and delicious, and not too sweet. Perfect on a warm day. We will definitely be back!

The people are great and I love, absolutely love, the outdoor area. Inside there is the same delicious, well-made espresso as ever. P.S. Great job to the person responsible for clearing up the now crystal clear drinking water. Thanks for that 😀

Nice, peaceful little cafe in a quiet neighborhood. Coffee was amazing!

Pleasant establishment with amazing coffee. You can also get wine and beer here and there's a cool outdoor seating area. The indoor tables are lined with outlets which is nice as you don't have to fight for electrical power.
