We've done 2 river trips with Journeys at Heartwood and both were awesome! The private landing at the resort made it so easy. Take out was simple too and the gentleman running the show did all the work to load our canoes for us. Easy to book. Easy to get on and off the river. I highly recommend this service. Also, they have live music on Friday nights. We had a great time.
Food was decent, seat yourself is a great service and the building has good AC, however ordering food is outside and you have to get your drinks inside. They never put our drinks on our bill even though we asked them for drinks in which they directed us to the building. My dad had a small cup while my mom and I had glasses, our food didn’t arrive at the same time, my cheeseburger patty was a bit bland and no server checked up on us, not even to take our plates away.
I’d suggest this if you are in need of food, but not for a nice sit down restaurant.

We went to Journeys for their fish fry, but no one seemed to want to serve us. They were more interested in their bar patrons. We left.

Should be great when it is "fully" up and running
