Excellent diner style breakfasts, just what you need. Can't go wrong with the country fried steak, eggs, and crispy hash browns. That country gravy is fantastic! The sandwiches and burgers look great too.

Thank you for making such wonderful home cooked meals! The breakfast is divine and if you have never had stuffed hash browns you are in for a real treat. The servers are a treat and are happy to help you get your day started with a fresh cup of coffee, hot tea, or orange juice. Such a great gem to have in Sparta.

First time here, both my wife and I really enjoyed our dining experience. The waitress was super friendly, the food was amazing and the prices were great; it's inexpensive for what you get. It's a nice little restaurant smack in the middle of downtown Sparta. We will be going back for breakfast!

My wife and I had our anniversary a few days back and had went to another establishment for breakfast, after a lackluster meal, we decided we needed a redo. So we decided to try dorrines. Man, what a difference. The meal was magnificent and very filling. Each of us tried the stuffed hashbrowns and they blew us away. This will now be our first breakfast place choice going forward.

Best breakfast in town and the workers are very pleasant and work hard to make your visit a great experience.

Exceptional service for a late breakfast on Thursday. Food is good. Staff wearing masks, no one else. Not crowded, so social distancing is okay. A bit surprised to see the usual condiment containers on tables. Very friendly, clean, easy parking downtown. Very reasonably priced. Had the country style stuffed hash with gravy. The small was plenty. Coffee is very average. Would certainly eat here again.

Great food at great prices!

Closes at 2:00pm. Breakfast served all day. Facility was clean and pleasant and credit cards accepted. A nice size cafe and they seem to have a good crowd. Bathrooms were large and clean. Extra entrance in back. Great WiFi. Breakfast seemed to be a good value. Staff was pleasant and attentive. Sourdough toast $.50 extra charge. Coffee at $1.10 was good. They have French vanilla creamer (ask for it) I missed out. They didn’t skimp on the traditional hash browns. All said and done I would recommend this cafe. That said, next time in town we will try another cafe down the street to compare with. New menu - photos as of July 2021.

Great tradition breakfast selections. Chicken fried stake was huge with a side of what I call traditional home fries. Excellent service even with a busy Sunday lunch time.

This place is so delicious and charming! We passed through the cute town of Sparta, WI on our cross country road trip. This was the perfect lunch/brunch spot along the way. Great service! (Plus feminine products in the bathroom which was a thoughtful touch I’ll remember)
