I have been to coffee shops all over Wisconsin and Minnesota, and this is by far my favorite coffee shop stop! The food is spectacular, the coffee and drinks are always spot on, and you can't find a better atmosphere. I continue to recommended "The Squirrel" to all family, friends, and strangers who venture up North.

The pesto chicken panini is supposed to have prosciutto, but what they gave me definitely had ham lol. Plain deli ham. Not terrible or egregious, just kind of embarrassing, they should update the menu.

Finding this gem in lake country and I live here too. I am very lucky! The owners are hands on and the bakery and food service is excellent. They are also expanding to a restaurant location about 3 blocks south. The name is Tesora featuring fine dining and a exceptional menu. A must visit on a weekend or a day trip.
