Owners: Extremely friendly and very kind. Welcomed us when we came in.
Food: Strawberry shortcake frap was amazingly delicious!!! Chicken salad wrap is probably the best I've had. We ordered the Tuscan
panini thinking it had no pork but it did. The owners were VERY understanding and made us the Roma panini instead. Hands down one if the best cafe place in Racine.

The Grind gives Mount Pleasant a good name despite its urban sprawl community plan. The panini sandwiches my wife and I had were made by a very friendly gentlemen--with a wild mane of hair all over his face and head--and they were very scrumptious. I think he was a hippie or something. But anyway, the real thing to try here is a thing called "breakfast-in-a-cup." My mouth sent a message to my brain informing it that the breakfast-in-a-cup is easily one of the best smoothies it's ever had. My brain trusts my mouth, so I have to agree. It runs around 5 bucks. The Grind is a pleasant and well managed addition to the community. It rocks.

Awesome quiche! Quaint little place with good eats and good coffee! Definitely worth popping in.

This is a great coffee shop. It's smaller and inviting. The owner and staff are very friendly. The best coffee shop in the area.
And the scones are great as well!

Love the grind. Everyone is so nice and I can call in my drink order and pick. That definitely sets them apart from most cafes.

The coffee was okay but not stellar. We came in at a slew time but the staff seemed very unhappy that we came. Could have been a bad day but still. Not bad if you are in the building and in bed of a coffee but I would go out of my way for it.

Baristas weren't friendly, looked bored, and seemed almost bothered by my question of what kind of scone was the one that didn't have a label. No hello, no smile, and barely a thank you when we paid.

Great coffee, secluded sitting area. Staff was courteous and took real interest in ensuring that the customer is happy with everything.
