Absolutely the best coffee place in Racine. We are so lucky to have them! Make sure to ask for a recommendation. They come up with some amazing drink suggestions. I also highly recommend the bagged coffee for home brew too. They also allow you to bring your own reusable cup which I love!

Esperanza is a single origin coffee shop servicing the Milwaukee, Racine, and Kenosha area.

Food and drink: My wife and I have had the espresso, iced coffee, and the pour over. Having frequented most of the major local chains in Milwaukee, along with the more artisanal spots in the downtown area, we both can say this or Hawthorne Coffee are jockeying for the overall best product in pure coffee. Every cup of coffee we have had from Esperanza has been meticulously made and delicious, producing a product a true coffee dork would enjoy. That said, their niche is also a possible deterrent for some. If you are looking for a menu rivalling Starbucks or the local chains, look elsewhere. The basics are all on display, but masterfully crafted. You will not find cocktail-like creations from big box stores, choosing to side more on perfecting the basics. To our knowledge, they only have 1 type of bean they serve. That said, we have purchased and brewed in our home, and it is a great product. PRO TIP: If you do need the less traditional, more Starbucks-ian type drink for a more picky drinker, they sometimes carry the horchata latte which is very good.

Atmosphere: As of right now, they frequent numerous farmers markets and have a storefront in Racine. It is somewhat difficult to find, tucked away in an old bank building. Drive-up is the only option for pickup.

Service: On numerous occasions, the owner has come out and talked with the patrons, and is genuinely knowledgeable and passionate about the final product, being a true coffee nerd himself. With that said, assume you are getting a cup of coffee made just for YOU, and not just dumped from a trough. Your time spent will be rewarded.

Overall: 9/10. Cost is inexpensive, the end product is top notch and brilliant in it’s simplicity, and the only negative I can think of is a lack of a storefront and somewhat difficult ordering. If you are a coffee lover, it is a genuine disservice to not check out this cup of joe.

Best Americano that I've ever had. The grilled cheese is out of this world and their house salad is jammed packed with goodness. I'm from Phoenix and I would fly here again just to come to this place! 😇

Luckily I live close to the indoor farmer's market in Kenosha and can stock up on Esperanza's whole bean each Saturday. I brew it French-press style and its by far my favorite cuppa joe. I love the nutty, subtle flavor: not too strong, not too mild. An awesome way to start the day! Keep up the great work, guys. Viva Guatemala!

I love the horchata latte with a shot of lavender or mocha. Esperanza's social media game is great. Theyre constantly updating about specials and personal information about the business. I love that the beans are sources from the owner's own family farm.

Love the owner's story. Saw it advertised on FB and decided to make the trip down to get a mug for my aunt Esperanza. Tried a mocha and the coffee was superb. Bought a bag to go. Will be back

Best coffee in town. This place is a hidden gem - awesome owner, ethical practices, and you know exactly where your drinks are coming from.

I purchased a cold brew from the farmers market & it was beautiful. I am very particular about my cold brew as I drink it black and the flavor couldn't have been more perfect. I wish they were closer to me as I can't find quality coffee like that here in milwaukee.

Amazing coffee drive thru in the city! Those high quality beans at Esperanza are owner sources and locally roasted! Fresh and so smooth! Love this place!
