Simply Cafe

We stopped in this town on our way to Madison. I'm super glad we did. It's such a quaint little town and there are so many things to go see and do. We wanted to eat at a locally owned place and really enjoyed our time here. The reason I'm getting it a four-star and not a five is the food was good just not great. There were four of us and I was unable to get a picture of the boys food as I had walked down the street and by the time I came back they had eaten it. Also, as we are finishing they were vacuuming as we were still in the restaurant as were at least a dozen other people. I thought it was rude to be doing that when you still had customers in the restaurant. Also, the line was long and going very slow so I tried to do their app where you could order it and pick it up and it was not user friendly. I ended up having to go to the counter anyway. It is a cute place and I think it's a nice addition to the town.

The food was amazing! The cafe has a great atmosphere, if I'm in the area again I will definitely stop again!

Had a delicious lunch here today and was really impressed. We had soup and sandwiches, raspberry lemonade and a latte, all were fresh and delicious. Staff were friendly and fun to interact with. Great rustic industrial ambiance and clean restrooms. Also enjoyed that they had self serve ice water.

Sandwiches are excellent, with thick tasty breads filled with with yummy meat and sauces and veggies. I was pleasantly surprised at the high quality, freshness, value (huge portions) and deliciousness.

Very easy to order online for carry out, quick service and the staff was super friendly. Food was top-notch, flavorful and large portions! Also enjoyed the lavender lemonade. Great place!

Great tasting food. Food choices and options are similar to Panera Bread but with an independent, unique, 1 of a kind touch.

So yummy! Kind staff, timely food, delicious food and flavored lemonade (lavender!), along with a great atmosphere. We loved it and will be coming here more! Also has great choices for everything from tasty salads to savory sandwiches and creative soups too. And when most dishes come with bread, you know it's good!

Delicious salads, friendly staff, and perfect location. I highly recommend this place to travelers wanting to step a toe into Wisconsin and see a few local spots. This place is right on the main downtown strip surrounded by cute shops.

Very good food and service. We arrived at lunch hour, a very busy time....gave our order and received lunch quickly. The food is as good as anywhere and better than most. Nice atmosphere too. Thanks for a pleasant experience.

Nice space with great but not fantastic food at reasonable prices. Very happy wait staff with quick service. Music was worth the stop.
