Coffee is superb. Baked oatmeal is fantastic! The ambiance, though....this place is like NO other. It's a coffee house...it's A HOME... it's filled with books like a bookstore and with antique 'treasures' that are all up for sale. The furniture is homey, comfortable, and gives your experience a feel like you're on a friend's home, chilling out, sharing conversation, loving life.

Easily one of the best coffee places I've ever been to. The coffee and food are great and the atmosphere is impossible to replicate. Everyone of the staff are nice and friendly and make sure you are taken care of. Whether you're looking for a quick cup of coffee or a place to spend a few hours reading a book you'll enjoy this place.

I needed a place to work on my To Do list while my daughter took her college placement tests. The Shellattes was perfect. Friendly, great space, great coffee. Thank you for making me feel welcome. I had never been here before.

I have had a LOT of coffee from a lot of places. This place so far is the BEST!! My fiance, who is super picky, hates when most people make smoothies. But, stepping out of his comfort zone, he got one here and actually really enjoys it! They have so many choices, their pistachio torte is TO DIE FOR and they even gave us ice cream! If you're going to go out for coffee this should be the place!

Amazing coffee shop! Even if you don't like coffee you are sure to find many other delicious things! Her specials are always to die for, baked goods are addicting, and Shelly is always whipping up new ideas. Aside from enjoying all of the scrumptious food and drinks, Shelly and her staff will treat you like their friends and family. A warm and homey atmosphere will keep you coming back! Great place to bring kids (some of Shelly's favorite customers), great place for meetings, and awesome catering too!

Shellates was great! Shelly was very kind, helpful, and attentive and you could tell she really cares about her customers. Our coffee drinks were tasty, and we were able to try many of the breakfast items: quiche, egg bakes, and baked oatmeal. We couldn’t decide which one we liked best! Thanks again Shelly

Great coffee shop with awesome coffee and homemade bakery items! Daily specials, cozy chairs and nicnaks decorate the shelves. They also have books and gifts for sale. Best part is the patio under a big shade tree to enjoy your coffee outside!
