We love this place. Great food and excellent service!

Great service & food, large portions for the $$, and very friendly service. We actually wound up here for a late lunch after trying to find a place for lunch in New Glarus and finding 2 places in NG that clearly didn't want to be bothered and 1 that had far too few menu choices. M&M even stayed open an extra half hour for us, as we showed up just before their posted closing time.

Oh MY!!!! We went there several years ago, but I still want to review it. The warm onion pie, pumpkin-mushroom soup, and AMISH CREAM PIE were some of the best food this planet has to offer!!! LOVED it!

So read the entire review before making your decision.
If you want yuppie waitresses that offer an at most fake smile, do not go here. The waitress here works hard and genuinely gives you a smile as she runs to the next customer. Don't worry she will return to you.
If you like overpriced processed food made by underpaid cooks, don't go here. The chef here has REAL potatoes and REAL everything that tastes like the old school diners used to, phenomenal.
Do go if you like to belly up to a counter, listen to the chit chat of the local events, great food and oh yes, affordable. Prices.

For a cheeseburger with fries and a small Cole slaw, and a chicken sandwich,no fries Cole slaw, a piece of pie we had to share, instead of telling us they only had one piece, and two lemonade, $37.00.....not going back there....

Great example of a small town cafe. The counter service was good, and the egg sandwich was cheap and hit the spot.
This is a good stop for bicyclists. The proprietor said they get a few every day in summer weekends

One of the most memorable breakfast I've ever had.

This place is exactly what the highly sought after greasy spoon is about. It's small, everyone knows everyone else. There are always a couple of older gentlemen sitting at the counter, sipping coffee, slowly eating amazing food and discussing the local topics of the day. If you listen closely you'll be treated to a history lesson about the town.
The food is amazing and you can see it being cooked right in front of you by the hard working owner. Get there early for the biscuits and gravy with 2 eggs cooked however you like. If they run out that day you won't be able to think about anything else until you go back and fulfill your stomachs need.
People travel long distances looking for these little jewels scattered across the country. This is absolutely one of those. This isn't Denny's or some super sterile, fancy, quinoa bowl, vegan paradise. This is a real old school diner that still exists in all of its glory, not because it's hip, not because of trends, because it's damn good food for the farmers and locals to treat themselves with .
