i never write reviews, HOWEVER, this is by far the #1 coffee shop in milwaukee and everyone needs to know about it.
the staff is the kindest and always happy to talk and the coffee is amazing. great drink/tea selection. i always tell customers at my own job to come here.
try the lavender love latte or any of the tea sodas!
p.s. pls give me a job here i want to be friends with all of you

Favorite local coffee shop in Milwaukee! The quality of their espresso drinks is top notch and their friendly staff will always add a personal touch upon request or if you're a regular. Great tea selection and recommendations too.

I lived down Brady from this place (now a dog food store) way back in 2003. I was 18 and loved hanging out here. I was in a no alcohol kick and their coffees worked very well to fill the void. Cool atmosphere then and now.

I used to come here all the time in college. I love the vibe, and everything I've ever had there was excellent. This weekend was the first time in about 4 years that I had been there. Everything tasted just like it always had. The staff was great. The reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because the place has not been kept up. There was so much graffiti (no, not art, actual graffiti) on the walls, and in the bathrooms. I sat upstairs, and the chairs were ripped. The walls were dirty, and not only was the carpet old, but it looked like it hadn't been vacuumed in years.
I took my BF there for the first time and I couldn't stop raving about the place. After we left, he said he didn't know if he could go back even though the drinks were amazing, just because of the condition. I was disappointed in this fact, however I couldn't blame him. Hopefully soon they will invest in new furniture, carpet and paint.

This place has awesome coffee drinks, and a very laid back vibe. The service isn't fast-food quick, so if you go, just know it's going to take a bit. Having local honey and hemp milk are serious pluses for me, and this place has both. The Barista was friendly. I'm giving it 4 stars because the interior could use some decluttering and updating. It would also be nice if they had a larger bakery selection.

Line was long, but the Chai I had was WORTH IT. Lovely and spicy with lots of ginger.

come all the way up from Kenosha wi, crowds are young people studying or just socializing respectfully just an awesome atmosphere. open late is huge can get work done - staff was friendly and patient again just a unique place I can't believe not more places like this. their open late and serve tea and coffee not just booze and they keep their staff happy which resonates to the customer. keep up the great work!

Love this place. Best options for tea lovers and great coffee and hot cocoa too. Would be here every day if I could. Fantastic people every time I come and there's so much style and art all over.

Toward the end of an incredibly long stroll around Milwaukee on a hot summer day, we ended up at this atmospheric little coffee house on Brady Street.
The staff was so attentive and accommodating, they noticed how overheated we were and suggested their best cold brew, with some ice cold water on the side.
It was the most refreshing coffee I’ve ever had. Who knew a coffeehouse could be so revitalizing on such a sweltering, humid afternoon? We’re coming here again next summer!
