Just visited on our last morning in Milwaukee and had a terrible experience. We went because it had space outside while we walked our dogs thinking it would be a good excuse before we left. My wife went in to order and came out saying they had wrung up the transaction in cash and weren't willing to undo it so we could use a card, the employee said he didn't know how to make an espresso drinks, even though they were on the menu, just how to make the carafe pre-made coffee. Instead he looked up a guide online and gave us what was essentially a hot cup of milk. If something is on the menu then the staff need to know how to competently prepare what you sell. The cause may be great but they need to get their act together if they're going to do coffee as part of what they do.

The best place for relaxation, a great cup of coffee and more delicious hot drinks. Plus there is fun and games available daily also. Very popular amongst the chess players.

Excellent coffee, clean and welcoming. It's a great place and a great cause, helping veterans through post service issues. Go there, support them.

Really great little spot with a wonderful mission and an even better owner!

What can you say, good folks at a beautiful location. In the summer, sit out on the courtyard, with a cup of Joe and watch the people on Brady street walk by. Know the folks at the hootch have more in common with you than the people walking by . BTW check out the Brick pacer honoring fallen brothers.

Hands down best individual cup of coffee in MLK. Pour over beans / roasts are rotated seasonally. Extremely knowledgeable, passionate, and detail oriented staff.

Great Place to stop by for a coffee and say hi. They do wonderful things for our veterans and need support.

Came in to Milwaukee today to visit Dryhooch with a couple Veteran friends to see what it was all about. Impressed by the programs, the coffee and vibe of the place. Learned about some of their programs, and left feeling really excited. DryHooch is what America's all about, seeing a need and filling it...paired with coffee and checkers. All soldiers master the fine art of complaining, Dryhooch responds with solutions.
