Colectivo Coffee - Bay View

Great coffee shop with a bakery in cool neighborhood. Nice amenities including a fountain running the length of the building, two floors of indoor seating, outdoor covered & uncovered seats & tables, even tables on swings. A separate but attached bakery making real, healthy bread. On street metered parking. Good coffee & light meals as well.

One of the coolest places in MKE. It's an icon. I love the passion they put into the design of their new buildings. It's not a normal coffee shop. It's an experience. I love the outdoor booth/swings. It is my go-to place for a casual date with my wife. Bring a little card game, get a delicious coffee and a snack.

What’s not to like? Great coffee served with pastries made on site, with so many comfortable places to sit and enjoy in the heart of Bay view just minutes from downtown Milwaukee. Next to Colectivo on the Lake by McKinley Marina, I love coming here most.

it was a tiny cup it seemed like it was only about 6 oz but I can't deny the quality was there for sure The atmosphere was amazing in this place what a great place to write a book.

Pretty nice for the most part but if you have twenty employees behind the register at least one of them should maybe consider using it.

AMAZING atmosphere! So nice to sit on the swinging chairs with tables or even inside when they have all the doors wide open in the summer. Coffee is awesome, too. Just wish parking was a little better in that area.

Food was nothing special. And service was way too long. I waited almost 20 minutes for one sandwich and one burrito. The "server" was constantly talking to the batista and sitting. I did not like seeing such disorganization.

Nice urban cafe location. Located at an intersection heavy with restaurants, this Colectivo is my 2nd favorite thus far (I really like their lakefront location, which is #1). Excellent espresso, decent baked goods, and the space is shared with an extensive Troubadour bakery operation. Friendly staff, and a roomy interior round things out.

(negative feedback) I find that drinks made here aren't as consistent as other locations. The space is great and it's cool having the bakery on-site. Don't expect fast wifi, but do expect great drip coffee. The baristas probably hate making it, but the mocha shake is a real treat.

Beautiful and spacious space, great place to work, and also kid friendly. My Americano was pretty good but not amazing. The food was stellar - fresh, inventive, flavorful. This Chicagoan will be back next time I'm in town.
