This past Saturday, I placed a pick-up order for a dozen Level 5 donuts in Boston cream, cherry almond, chai, blueberry lemon, and chocolate. When we arrived at Ledger to get some EXCELLENT coffee (I loved the light roast) and sit with our donuts, they also had key lime and churro available for individual sale, so we had to grab a couple each of those, too. Can I gush about these here?? I could not take enough pictures of these gorgeous donuts between stuffing my face with bites of them, especially luxuriating in the rich amounts of pastry cream in the Boston. Insane! All of Caitlin's flavors are fresh and bright, true to their word and never artificial tasting. They are never too subtle or too prominent. The middles are soft and the outsides are just a little bit crispy and I am so glad she is in my town making donuts! All her donuts are vegan, and you can special order gluten-free donuts for pick-up as well... I have had them at festivals she's participated in and they are excellent. You can order through her website, or just get to Ledger before they run out. I recommend a dozen though, because these donuts are binge-worthy. Make some time to get coffee at the shop, because it is top notch artisan coffee and definitely a worthy pairing. Oat milk, almond and others all available. Service is very accommodating and friendly.

Stopped in on a Saturday morning and it was busy, but the line moved quickly! The space inside garver feed mill is huge, so I had no problem finding space to sit. The winter farmers market was taking place at the time, which is why it was so busy, but a great thing to do on a cold winter morning to get out of the house. I loved the latte and will definitely be back!

One of the best coffee shops in Madison. Unique in the fact that they roast their own coffee, with a rotating selection of blends and single origin varieties

Really great, smooth, balanced (not acidic!) espresso. And, and guess what, DECAF espresso is also available (I’m not talking about decaf coffee)... and it’s really good; try the latte.
This place is hidden in plain sight in the Garver’s Mill building on Fair Oaks. My wife and I have been stopping by for the Saturday winter farmers market (see picture: treats are from Cress Spring Bakery from Blue Mounds).
Really great, friendly staff.
5/7/2020: best coffee in Madison and it's not even close.

Easily the best local roastery and coffee shop. Great beans, both blends and single origin, and good decaf as well.

Great coffee shop in a wonderful location! It's still a pretty new cafe, but I expect the quality and the coffee roasting to only get better over time!

Richard gave me some background on the building and Savannah made a great mocha. We agreed there's no signage indicating any sort of public space or restaurant, but their business seems to operate purely on getting stumbled upon and I feel nothing but respect.

Best miel I’ve ever had, hands down! Lovely store and located in the beautiful Garver Feed Mill. Picked up some for home and am hooked.

Great coffee spot! I'm at the Garver Feed Mill building, but stopped over to enjoy some coffee. I only got a cup of drip coffee, but there was a light and medium roast option. I went with the light roast and it's delicious. Lots of other coffee drink options for everyone, a nice and spacious interior, and friendly workers. Highly recommend.
