Lakeside St. Coffee House

Wonderful neighborhood coffee shop with wide variety of drinks and delicious healthy foods. Relaxed, warm atmosphere with fun, quirky decorations.

I don’t know if I have encountered nicer, more friendly staff anywhere. We asked them to surprise us with a bagel of their choice, and they went above and beyond and certainly did not disappoint. The drinks were delicious as well and the presentation of it all was fantastic! We will be looking for reasons to visit Madison again just so we can come back to this coffee shop!

A cozy coffee shop— excellent food, baked goods, and coffee. Nice spot to meet up with friends or get work done. The outdoor patio and lakefront views when the weather is nice are the best!

Great grilled cheese and curry chicken sandwich. Spacious inside and outside. Friendly staff and coffee is fantastic. Good outdoor place for dogs, too.

Quaint coffee shop. Had a relaxing time just sitting in the outside tables having a chai latte while eating a turkey club working on my ipad.

Another plus are these amazing bees if you happen to be a bee lover. One of them literally cut a piece of turkey from a slice and flew off with it.

I believe this is the best cafe in Madison. The coffee is very good (got a macchiato). The staff is very nice and polite. It takes time to walk from downtown but it is worth to have a peaceful time.

The staff here are friendly, there is a ton of space to sit inside and out. They have great food, I love the turkey chipotle breakfast sandwich. Never had a problem with any of my hot drinks or food being cold.
