As a fully trained barista from the St. Paul/Minneapolis area, I was anxious that I wouldn't be able to find a specialty coffe shop in college. I tried out the shops on College Avenue and none of them met my standards of by-the cup brewing with single-origin coffees. So I'm very glad to have discovered Seth's in Little Chute!

Seth's is nearly everything I could want in a coffee shop. The atmosphere is cozy, and as other reviewers have said, reminds me of an urban coffee shop. It's a great place to study, and the background music is almost always excellent. When I go with a larger group, Seth's is the perfect place to hang out and play cards or a board game (which they even lend out!)

My coffee standards are quite high, and Seth's meets them for the most part. They have solid, seasonal offerings of Intelligentsia roasted beans, which are always fresh. Although some have complained about long wait times, as a barista I understand the care that goes into hand brewing coffee; it's well worth the wait. On one visit, the barista even redid my siphon pot to improve the coffee. I'd say in general, the brewed coffee offerings are better than their espresso drinks. While I've had fantastic cappuccinos and single-origin shots, I've also had a few drinks where the shots was noticeably over or under extracted. However, that's getting picky and overall the coffee is the best you'll get anywhere in the Fox Valley.

The food is also great, although I haven't tried enough offerings to give a full review. I've always been satisfied with meals I get there though.

Check out Seth's if you haven't yet! Wonderful coffee, atmosphere and food. The baristas (and Seth) are always very friendly when I visit and any waiting you have should be worth the quality!

One last remark, I wish they could take tips from a debit card! I hardly ever carry cash and wish I could show the baristas how much I appreciate them!!

One of my favorite coffee shops. I love the atmosphere and the staff is very nice. However the coffee is not the best, it's often cold. Great tea though.

Nice coffee place. I was working in this area and saw this place and decided to try it out. The americano was excellent as well as the blueberry muffin was delicious. This definitely a unique coffee shop in a small town, I would totally come back just to visit this place.

My children love the ice cream...but service here is subpar at best far too much of the time. We end up waiting far too long for someone to serve us for an already moderately overpriced ice cream cone...as a result we only visit once a summer or so. If the service was better we’d definitely come back more often.

Love this great coffee shop. Seth's wife makes all the cups and creamer carafes. So cool!! Delicious half sandwich with salad to stay on plan with my Weight Watchers points.

For those who don't know, this specialty coffee shop is the one of the oldest in the Valley. Seth's started before the coffee culture hit the area and they did a lot of the legwork in establishing this culture. Now the Valley has a blooming specialty coffee culture and it's always refreshing to come back here to its origins. Seth's is a classic, and it has earned the rank of "specialty", both through service and its interaction with the community.

Seth's is my go-to coffee shop - big city feel in a small town. Best coffee and pottery in the entire Appleton/Fox Cities area. Their drive-thru in teh alley behind the Lawrence University Chapel in Appleton has the same quality of drinks.

Amazing coffee, food and quality service!

Always great coffee, and quality is always worth the time it takes to hand brew each delicious cup. A little pause and reflection tion in the day is a good thing. Take the time to come and enjoy one for yourself.

Favorite coffee shop in the valley, both for their coffee as well as to just sit and work. Their almond milk lattes are truly the best in my opinion. I do wish they would up their sizes a little though.
