Such a cute store! If you are looking for something to put in the cabin this is the place to go. Also if you are looking for some Lakewood gear they have you covered! The coffee is good however it takes a bit to make. The staff is always so nice!!

We love this coffee shop. The staff is always very friendly and welcoming. Everyone - staff and customers - were wearing masks. Everything is clean and cozy. I love their "special" coffee drinks board - it gives you a lot of great options to try, but you can also ask for whatever flavor combo you want. They also have a decent selection of baked goods (twists, scones, etc.). Northern Perks also has a ton a great items for sale - we often find xmas gifts here for family and friends. We make a point to stop here every time we're in the area.

Staff is very rude from start to finish. Internet service they offer doesn’t work, even after you make a purchase just to use it. Then the staff speaks loudly and rudely about how ridiculous it is that you expect the service to work. I would go literally anywhere else.

My latte was okay (beans tasted kind of stale, though selection of sugar-free syrups was very good). Walkways and displays were super-cramped--little to no space without 'stuff' felt overwhelming and very cluttered even for a gift shop. The chocolate cherry candy bar was old and we tossed 90% of it plus the second unopened bar. The biscotti was okay but really a soft scone.
When I approached the clerk, I started saying what I wanted to drink and she interrupted me, pointed to the menu, and suggested I start with that. (?) I looked at it for maybe 10 seconds and then began to repeat exactly what I had started to say a moment earlier. I quickly looked around the counter for sugar-free syrup options, didn't see them, asked what was available--and again was met with finger-pointing and 'they're here' but with no friendly words. I said something about there being so much to look at (i.e., clutter) and sorry I didn't find it myself.
Supporting small business is important to me: my parents owned a small (and very successful) business, and I learned early how terrific customer service can make up for things like occasionally lesser quality or higher price. As this wasn't the case here, we unfortunately will not return.

We stopped for coffee & an apple cinnamon scone which was amazing! Super cute gift shop too… we will definitely include this in our route:)

Ended up not ordering no posted prices. And from watching someone ahead order im good on not paying 10 bucks for coffee. There was no room to make a line people kept cutting in front of each other or walking over each other. I decided it wasn't worth the wait for high priced coffee with no price tell i order and left.

Very bad experience, rude staff, coffee drinks where not made right, over priced for quality. Poorly made. My 8$ coffee had a strong chemical taste. It tasted like the smell of the building. I’d rather go to a gas station and get coffee I can make myself for a 1$. Dumped it out when I got home. Unfortunately I have to give this place 1 star instead of 0.
