My husband and I stopped in for brunch. I got the waffle with ham, eggs and hollandaise sauce and Dustin got the breakfast burrito, which he really enjoyed. The coffee is always great here. I started with a white mocha and then we shared an Americano, which was very smooth. We'll definitely come back again. They have a unique breakfastenu.

We have had some great experiences there recently. First of all, lunch with a friend with our children and we loved the children's corner so the kids could play while we waited for food. We also attended two recent events there with tickets in advance. The staff is always very prompt and does well with waiting on the tables!

I came here last week for brunch. It was my first time visiting. We waited a long while before any server came to take our order. We had to go up to the front to ask if we were supposed to order up front or at the table. Food was alright. I got the avacado toast with egg. The fruit portions were small, too. Overall, the place had a nice atmosphere.

Definitely trying to be a bit too fancy for what it is. I got the soup of the day, chicken curry, which was good, but they tried too hard and ruined it by adding raw onion to an otherwise creamy soup. Same with the sandwich special, tuna melt. It wasn't melted, they toasted the bread but the cheese wasn't melted, and the tuna was room temp at best, also, the giant chunk of tomato on it ruined it more for me, didn't match well. I'd try it again in hopes it is better next time.

Had a delicious feisty Burger with feta spread. It's a nice place with friendly staff.

Great food and drinks and great atmosphere. If you have small children, this is the place for you! They have a kid zone play area so you can enjoy a meal while your kids are entertained as well.

This was a fantastic first for us. We were in LaCrosse visiting my niece and she mentioned stopping at JavaVino for Brunch. The atmosphere was trendy. The environment was clean. The service and workers were all friendly and a pleasure. The food options and quality were absolutely refreshing and amazing. Would definitely recommend to anybody visiting. Looking forward to the next time.

Burger was cooked to order(medium rare) but nothing special. Their menu is very limited. Music is too loud and not suited for a family oriented crowd. Im not trying to listen to Post Malone at high volume ever! Put on Sinatra or Billy Holiday, don't allow your employees to control music...dear god!

I went to JavaVino for an event and the staff was very helpful and accommodating in finding me a seat even through the dining area was packed. Quick service in getting my food (great cheesecake) and I was even able to pay right at the table as soon as the event ended. Would eat here again!

I am not one to leave negative reviews, but myself and the rest of my party had what we felt was a very careless experience here. Let me start by saying the chai I had was delicious. Beyond that, I have to say this experience left everything else to be desired. I completely understand the staff is only operating based on the larger restaurant culture and rules, so I want to be clear that I don’t hold any individual responsible for my experience. As a vegan living in La Crosse WI, I deeply understand that I’m going to have to make adjustments to most everything I order when I go out to eat. What I don’t understand is why I was told a max of 2 adjustments were allowed. I've literally never been told this. In the service industry I personally find it an interesting choice to capsize special requests. I noticed the menu also kindly requested no substitutions. Okay…but then at least have 1 option that exists as is for a vegan. After thoroughly examining the menu, it looked to me as if everything needed at least one modification to make it dairy free. In this way, myself and my party of 2 others who don’t eat animal products left feeling like our requests to create something we would enjoy were taken to be a nuisance, which right off the bat makes it near impossible to have a positive experience. If there's truly nothing immediately obvious that I can order from the menu, at the very least I’d like to feel that my own attempts to amend existing items be both allowed and encouraged. Again, I’m not one to leave a negative review, but the whole experience was extremely uncomfortable and disappointing. To feel like an inconvenience, be served a sloppy meal, and leave with a $59 bill I feel warrants some degree of frustration. I really want to like it here because I feel there's real potential to be vegan friendly in a city that largely isn't... but as long as the options stay so limited and the attitude toward modifications remain as they are, I definitely cannot consider Java Vino a viable option for anything plant-based.
