Absolutely incredible breakfast sandwiches! The coffee is great, and they have beer/wine so you get the best of both worlds!

La Crosse is a beautiful city, inside is Grounded Coffee it the cherry to the cake. Tasty Coffee, Salted Caramel Lattes. Build your own egg sandwiches. Every bite is perfection to your taste buds.
Covid respectful patrons are aloud 30 min max for dine-in. Or patio for a 1 hours. Take it to go park at riverside Park enjoy a moring in by the river.

Very cute little coffeeshop with a wide selection of coffee and food items. Plus they have my favorite syrup flavor, Lavender! Wi-Fi works fast enough to stream videos with no lag, at least at 8am on a Saturday. Muffins are moist and delicious, definitely recommend their pumpkin cheesecake if you like Starbucks' pumpkin cream cheese muffin.

Went here with a friend/coworker and tried the Grapefruit Sculpin for the first time-- enjoyed it!! The patio was perfect, not too loud, even in downtown La Crosse. Definitely a place worth coming to again.

Great breakfast while having our car serviced.

The weakest cappuccino I’ve ever had. Awful espresso to milk proportions. It literally tasted like milk and no coffee. I had to go back and order extra shots just to improve it. The soy milk substitute tasted weird and goopy.
Staff seemed nice, friendly, and helpful.

Short Version: Grounded is awesome & I'll sincerely miss them when I leave La Crosse this spring.
I've lived in Milan, Tokyo, Afghanistan, Iraq, and about 50,000 other places** and I've patronized coffee shops in all of them. Grounded manages to pull off what I'd consider a rare feat... they manage to run a coffee shop with great coffee*** that doesn't make one feel like one ought to be finishing up and making space for the next person. I'm also a fan of the staff, who are unfailingly friendly even on the rare occasion a customer is... impolite.
I think I've tried all of the coffee shops in downtown La Crosse, but the only one I visit on the regular is Grounded.
* Slight exaggeration.
** Only my opinion, of course, but I'm right anyway.
