Summer Moon Coffee

Well, we came all the way to Kenosha to find a Texas based coffee house. We set out to find some local coffee shop instead of the standard “Seattle”. Little did we know when we went in and started reading we saw Austin, TX on everything. Better than that was the hospitality we encountered. Asking what the barista recommended, he quickly asked what we like and recommended the blueberry crisp latte. I had read the description on the board and it sounded perfect to my surprise. My first sip truly felt like I was eating a blueberry crisp. My husband got the cinnamon and it was so warming and perfect for such a cold day. We’ve already decided that this is where we will be coming back to on our second day while we’re here in town. The banana nut bread got a rave review from my hubs as well. Oh and did I mention the “MOON MILK” cream! Amazing! Oaty, milky, creamy and delicious!

My wife and I visited Summer Moon Coffee here in Kenosha and really enjoyed our experience. We plan to patron it regularly! Cozy and stylish atmosphere, friendly staff, and quality coffee and baked goods. The only suggestions we would make is 1) place public music speakers on their own tables rather than on customer table spaces, and 2) consider boosting the WIFI at some point. Signal could only load one page at a time (with a new device). Overall, Summer Moon Coffee is a great addition to K-Town's community :)

This is a super cozy place, there was a bit of a long line when I went but it was worth the wait, I've never been to this place before but I tried out the iced snickerdoodle latte and it was so good. My dad got the iced mocha moon latte and said it was super good. The employees are very kind and informative. Plenty of cozy seating available. I've been trying to find a place that doesn't water down their coffee and actually tastes good and I finally found it. Just look at my latte!! Not see-through and perfectly made. Oh, and they use that nugget ice that doesn't take up 2/3 of your cup! I'll be coming back here whenever I want coffee :')

Fancy franchise — interior is perfect and welcoming — but you pay for it. My 12 Oz nitro cold brew was 8oz coffee and 4oz foam for $6 (including a $1 tip)!! That’s insane! The whole thing fit in the palm of my hand. You get a great tasting NCB at Stbx for the same price but get double the amt with maybe a cm of foam.
EDIT, The coffee was extremely bitter and give me a stomachache immediately. I also tried to get some work done but the Wi-Fi was terrible. I was in and out of there in less than 15 minutes. Also, the location is not very convenient. Sad that I went out of my way for this.
Save yourself boatloads of money and just get a $9 a month Coffee pass at Panera!

I love it here. I get the Summer Moon latte regularly, its easy to make a good cup of coffee but consistency is whats the most important. 8/10 im getting that perfect cup, I've also enjoyed the Matcha moon latte (i usually get an extra scoop of matcha), the strawberry refresher, Frozen Hot Chocolate, Espresso milk shake, quarter moon latte (less sugar and cream stronger cup) , and winter moon (basically an iced summer moon) they're all really good. I'm a former disgruntled Starbucks patron 🤣, my regular drink there was an almost $8 (due to my add ons) white chocolate moca that almost never was the same 2 days in a row, the Summer moon latte hits the spot, and I save a couple of dollars, the service is always good, with a reasonable wait time. I usually use the drive through, though the inside is very spacious and a nice atmosphere. With good coffee, consistency, a clean coffee machine, and fresh coffee matters the most to me. I've given up on Startbucks, And DD couldn't get a basic darkroast coffee with cream and sugar correct. Long live Summer Moon 😄😆

The space is great. The staff are friendly. Everything is very clean. I just don’t like the drip coffee much at all. The fire roasting dominates the flavor profile of almost every offering. I’m sure other drinks with moon milk are better, but I’m just a black coffee kinda guy. Hard to review fairly given how selective my ordering is.

This place is adorable. It's rustic means modern meets cozy! I came from Chicago and met my friend from Milwaukee. This will definitely become our halfway meeting place! The baristas are so nice and so are the customers!! Coffee was so good too! There is even an area for young kids to play while the mom's enjoy their coffee.

Cute place with great coffee, however, beware of what you order! The first time we came here we ordered a winter moon latte which was pretty tasty but according to their website it has 750+ calories in it. I think that is outrageous?! You can customize the % of Moon Milk (their signature sweet cream) used though and that can bring the calories down to 150-200+ if you care about that sort of thing. Still tasty that way!

Great small business coffee shop. The moon milk is delicious. The atmosphere is calm and warm. The staff is friendly and the prices are reasonable.

The place is comfy and cozy. I had a scone, and my hubby had a muffin. I have used the drive-through before but never went in. I have had the iced tea, a latte, and a seasonal cold brew. My hubby liked the regular coffee. They had a couple of different drip styles on the menu. He just went with the regular. They also have creams and alternative milks. I would go back.
