Really good waffles, a bit on the high. Otherwise I ordered savory option which was very delicious, freshly grown vegetables sauteed on top of my delicious waffle. It had such a nice crispy outside. There is a sweet choice in which berries grown on premise is the topping. The seating area is a lot smaller than I had imagined, very pretty though, with several needling kits ready for purchase. There are wool crafting classes that take place on the upper level. Really fantastic, fun, engaging, educational, and you leave with a nicely finished project.

Fun little place. Great gelato. A few friends too

I was so excited to try this place. Reviews were great, food looked amazing. We came here for breakfast and it was great! There were a couple things that weren’t great customer service but we just thought it was a fluke (ex: when the lady passive aggressively informed a guest that there’s only two gelato samples. Also when my father in law asked for more syrup twice and the waitress looked at him and walked away). Then we heard about their pizza night so we decided to come! $30/pizza by the way, which is very expensive to me, ESPECIALLY after seeing what you get. They say the pizzas are for 2 people - the pizzas are small and could feed 1. They also said everyone gets a starter. We had 10 people so we ordered 5 pizzas (based off their recommendation). The starter was a tiny salad that two people had to share and only one fork. When we asked if we were getting more, a VERY passive aggressive announcement was made that they serve one salad per pizza. Some were laughing but most were cringing. The waiter (I think father?) also has no idea what he was doing. My friend has an allergy to dill and she asked if there was dill in the salad. He said there was not. I smelled dill so she asked again and sure enough, there was. During the same passive aggressive announcement, the man said “our signs clearly state if you have an allergy so please let us know. Everyone has different allergies and we can’t help you unless you tell us”.... but she DID tell him! He continued to come over to our table and argue with us about their integrity while we ate. We had couples so each couple shared a pizza. We all had to wait at least and hour and a half but one couple still hadn’t gotten their pizza (2 hours later I might add). The chef admitted that she gave their pizza to a table after us because they were complaining about the wait time. So we had to wait an extra 30 minutes for everyone to finish. As great as the farm to table experience is, the people there are arrogant and rude. I would never go back. Very disappointed.

Melting gelato on a stale cone. Had to eat very fast and throw the cone away.
Should not have sold it to us!

We went Sunday morning for their Bismarks (fluffy crepes). The food and coffee was delicious. Everything is either from their farm or locally sourced. I would definitely recommend the fresh strawberries. The service was a little slow but very friendly and knowledgeable. I'm sure they don't get parties of 6 adults + 4 kids often right at 9 AM. The kids loved the chickens, pigs, and watching the hummingbirds eat which helped the wait go by. They even got to feed the pigs the leftover scraps.

I stopped in while on a bike ride this morning and it was wonderful! The coffee and bakery were superb and the outdoor seating was plentiful. I wish I had brought a bag so that I could have taken some fresh green and wax beans home. Next time...and I will be coming back to sample the grilled pizza. Add Farmstead to your list for farm-to-table goodness.

This our favorite place to eat at when we are in the area. The kale they sell is superb compared to what we can buy elsewhere. Wish we lived locally, we'd be buying from them all the time. The gelato is fantastic! The whole place & people are wonderful and amazing. Well worth a visit.

Fun place, but you can't see most of the farm

We ordered 3 pizzas and all 6 of us drank water and the bill was over $90. Ridiculous for 3 pizzas. Coming from a farming background some of the information given while dinning was questionable. Never to return. Very over priced for the experience.
