Birch & Banyan Coffee

Birch and Banyan has a very fresh and clean space with a warm and welcoming ambiance. We stopped on a Saturday morning and enjoyed one of their seasonal coffee drinks which was delicious. They have a nice variety of seating available including a couple of outdoor spots. Overall a very inviting place.

Birch and Banyan is becoming one of my favorite spots in Hartland. I have had multiple meetings there and I am never disappointed. Awesome vibes and great tasting drinks! Jesse and her staff are always very kind. I recommend this place to anyone looking for a great tasting drink or place for a meeting.

I went there to study after school and one of the workers approached me and told me, she was very rude about it, that I was not allowed to be there if I was not a customer. She also added that I was "taking up their space", which I would totally understand if it was busy, but it was not. I simply left because I did not want to argue, but I was not being disruptive whatsoever and there were only two others there, meaning there were more than 10 open tables still. Very terrible service if I do say so. Very unhappy considering Starbucks and many other coffee shops allow you to simply study in their space. Would not reccommend

I was so happy we stopped here! This coffee shop is very clean, bright and has a comfy feel right from when you enter the front door! Beautiful decor and an adorable little meeting room! We experienced a very friendly and welcoming staff! Great choice of grab & go treats.. bakery is from Sally Sweet Shoppe.. I was super excited to see that along with a few gluten free items which is a must for me. My dirty Almond milk chai was delicious, my fiancé loved his iced americano and our friend really enjoyed their white chocolate mocha!! I would highly recommend this coffee shop! Great addition to Hartland!

The ladies learned my name and order within a few visits and are always extremely friendly. The coffee is consistently delicious, and my girlfriend loved the bakery items! This coffee ship is a very nice addition to Hartland's downtown.

With the pink haze of disappointment from yesterday's coffee debacle still fresh in my brain... I ventured to Birch & Banyan this morning for coffee. The difference was absolutely amazing. These people know coffee and they are the real deal. The friendliness of staff was above and beyond and yes they use espresso... real fresh made espresso. I know it sounds weird that I have to mention the real espresso but from my previous experience yesterday this is a very important fact if you are in the area looking for a coffee shop.

I once joked with Jessie and Claire that Birch and Banyan wins as my preferred coffee place by default due to its proximity to where I live.

Truth be told, they'd still get my business even if it added 20 minutes to my morning commute. It'd be worth it every. single. time.

The staff is knowledgeable, friendly, and very well trained. They quickly deliver a delicious and well prepared cup of coffee, espresso drink, or tea every single time. They carefully monitor temperatures and grind consistency. They weigh the espresso in their portafilter and are even mindful of tamping pressure. They weigh and bag their loose leaf tea (Rishi, the best). They rotate brewed coffee and don't let it sit too long. They calibrate their top of the line espresso machine. The beans are locally roasted and always fresh. Never a burnt, overly bright, or overly bitter taste. Just smooth and rich flavors.

Amazing gem in the heart of Lake Country!! Jessie and her staff will take great care of you. Amazing coffee, inviting atmosphere, great snacks and a staff that is friendly and knowledgeable.
