Excellent omelets. Very busy but we were seated immediately.

Service was super slow.
My boyfriend ordered the meat lovers potato bowl and it was extremely greasy.
I got the spinach and hollandaise omelette
The hollandaise almost looked curdled and was also very greasy. Toast was rock hard. We were very disappointed.

What a great breakfast! Quick service despite and overwhelming number of guests. Charming atmosphere. A really happy place.

This cafe came highly recommended but my husband and I were disappointed. When we sat down the waitress attempted to pour coffee in a dirty cup. And I mean a cup of coffee not a mug like all restaurants today. Then she wanted to pour water into a dirty glass. When I stopped her she said the glass was just cloudy from the dishwasher. It was not cloudy at all-it had food particles on it!! She did bring me a clean glass upon my request. Now to the food, I ordered a veggie and feta omelet with potatoes. The omelet was fine-a bit greasy though but the potatoes were swimming in grease. I put them on the saucer of my coffee but I couldn't eat such greasy potatoes. I would never go back again. If you like dirty glasses, literally a cup of coffee and greasy food then the Village Cafe is for you.

Really great place to go for breakfast. Yummy food, adorable atmosphere, friendly staff. Nothing negative to say. If you are tall be careful standing up, many pieces of art from local artists hanging from the ceiling.

This was a pleasant surprise and we will return!

First off: Try the fresh homade coffee cake. Absolutely wonderful. But don't try it alone. We split ours between two people and had plenty to take home.

The rest of the menu is extremely tempting, from the sweet to the gourmet. My wife had french toast stuffed with apricot preserves and three cheeses. It shouldn't be legal. I had a spicy crab omlette with softened creme cheese. Also wonderful.

The portions are very generous, especially for the price.

This is our new favorite breakfast place on the peninsula.

Love this place! Scratch made Hollandaise!!! Their own corned beef! Food is fresh, great quality, and tasty, with creative seasonal menu. Service is excellent!

Quaint, cute atmosphere. Nice, quick service. Quiche I had was really tasty, but was clearly baked hours ago and microwaved. Fruit was similarly old and mushy. Liked it overall, but not great.

Not a good experience at all. I went with some family members and when we went in there was a sign that said wait to be seated, we waited several minutes before someone showed up and she almost walked right past us. Then we were seated in the hot uncomfortable "patio" area with annoying things everywhere. Not only did my glass have lipstick on it but when we got our food after a long wait for some sandwiches we all had our food made wrong or wasn't good. After that we weren't checked on once until they gave us the almost $30 bill for 3 very basic sandwiches. Extremely disappointed.
