Big Easy

I usually only read Google reviews rather than take the time to write them. However, after visiting this place two mornings in a row on our vacation, I had to write a review.

The food here is wonderful, the staff are very pleasant, and the coffee is superb. Their tater tots are seasoned so perfectly, the beignets were absolutely scrumptious, and their sausage gravy was so good I wanted to put it in a thermos and drink it. Also the biscuits with my chicken & biscuits with gravy were phenomenal. If I lived in Egg Harbor I would delegate my family’s breakfast to this place every morning rather than cook myself.

An absolutely wonderful little place. Very much worth your time to support this lovely little bagel & beignet shop. 10/10.

We came to Door County as a mini little vacation. We weren’t sure what to expect with everything going on right now, but they were very friendly, efficient, and clean. You walk up to the window to place your order and they bring it to your car, or you can call in an order. We got the Big Easy Burrito to share and it was AMAZING. Highly recommend! We also got a latte and coffee as well. The latte was GREAT, I could taste the coffee still, but it wasn’t overwhelming, and you could tell they didn’t add just a bunch of sugar. Great place overall!

Big Easy was delicious! We got there right when it opened and the bagels were very soft. The food was delicious! The featured filled beignets came out warm and were very tasty. We immediately texted people who are coming up in a couple days and told them they needed to eat here!

Great selection, bagels and beignets taste great and are economically priced. Beignets are super hot and fresh, closest to New Orleans type that I've had yet. Other dishes seemed expensive but I did not try those. Has outdoor deck seating, a plus.

This was our first time going to The Big easy because when we were in door county last year they were closed. They aren't able to stay open every day of the week because of staff shortages. We're so glad we made it there once this year. It's a great place to have breakfast in egg harbor. And if you're staying in door county outside of egg harbor it's definitely worth the drive. We had the chicken brisket sliders a bagel with cream cheese and an order of beignets. We ordered the beignets that were filled with milk chocolate and they were warm and delicious.

Friendly, welcoming staff; good, fresh food; specialty coffees also very good.

The girl at the counter was very accomodating, polite and knowledgeable !
The beignets were fresh and hot even after short walk to where we staying.

Stopped by the Big Easy our first day in Egg Harbor and ended up coming back the following 2 days after falling in love with their flavorful lattes and delicious breakfast sandwiches & tater tots. Their beignets are crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, and have a hint of olive oil. Plenty of space on the outdoor patio allows you to maintain a safe distance from others. I can't say enough good things about this place. Only critique I have is the wait. I assume most people in Door County are on "vacation time", but if you're in a hurry, I'd allow an extra 15 minutes to order & get your food.

We ordered the breakfast burrito and beignets. Large portions, hot and delicious I can't wait to return to try something new from the menu.

UPDATE (June 2021): You must try anything with the gravy (tater tot scramble, chicken biscuit sliders...) with an extra SIDE of gravy. You....will....thank....me! 🙌 The owner (I believe?) Was on the customer side asking if we had questions and confimed my gravy opinion. Very friendly! They offer indoor and outdoor seating to enjoy you meal.

Great food including beignets, but also breakfast sandwiches and other! The owner is great, made the rounds to make sure we were all happy and taken care of. Both indoor and outdoor seating. Will make is our regular breakfast place.
