The Exchange Coffee, Mercantile & Eatery

If youre looking to get the "hipster" experience this is definitely the place. Its got very a nice interior design with urban feel and a small art shop but the food is quite expensive. I ordered the chicken and waffle with the salad that comes with it which is spinach and 3 cherry sized tomatoes. It was like $8 something which had one bubble waffle and diced breaded chicken wrapped inside. It also came with a small side of buffalo sauce and syrup. The waffle was thin, the chicken breading kept falling off. It was ok. I would say if youre looking at a meal, a drink, taxes and tip then plan on around $15 per person.

Great atmosphere and delicious food. Nice place to go if you have food allergies. They do a great job working with your preferences. Gf waffles were great but a too sweet/vanilla tasting for a savory sandwich. Will definitely comeback if I'm in the area

Liked the place! They have got their own unique style of food! Choclate waffle was tasty! Never seen that kind before. Excellent staff. And, there is ample space.. you will always find a seat

Absolutely delicious salad. I had the avocado strawberry salad with no cheese. Highly recommend! Very nice customer service. Love the atmosphere. Great vegan options.

Love this restaurant! I ordered the Honey Mustard Chicken Crepe and it was very delicious! I am a foodie and a rather picky eater because I cook a lot for myself and hubby and oftentimes like my own cooking better. My friend had gluten free pancakes with blueberries and REAL Maple Syrup, and she said it was very good as well! The inside of restaurant is very hip looking, with all kinds of different architectural elements. They also have all kinds of fun drinks- I had Blueberry Matcha Lemonade! It was delicious!

The food was just ok. The chicken and waffle was essentially a waffle (not bad) with a chicken strip from Costco cut up. A nice attempt at a classic dish but really missed the mark.

Also a 30 minute wait after placing our order at the counter in a pretty empty restaurant.

Overall a swing and a miss. In a proper city this establishment would be around about a minute.

Rare find in DePere downtown, their savory bubble waffles are very yummy. Must visit place for breakfast.

I am really liking the Exchange Coffee House. It's got a great atmosphere, excellent coffee and great food options for Vegan and Gluten Free food. We also purchased some coffee beans for at home and it's fantastic. I do wish they were open on Sundays, but I understand why they are closed.

Great atmosphere, lots of seating, plenty of coffee options, and yummy food. I had the breakfast waffle sandwich, it wasn’t very big, but it was a good price, and a perfect serving size for me.

My partner had a Wisconsin chicken waffle sandwich, it was twice the size of mine, but also twice the price. It would be even better if served on the maple waffle!

Management must treat the employees well, because each one of them was so friendly, pleasant, and had a huge smile!
