Very good bacon cheeseburger, fries were mediocre, but not bad. Staff was excellent.

Service was decent, food was good. A little crowded on a Sunday morning but that seems right of a neighborhood staple diner.

Really great breakfast. Their homemade bread (sourdough!) was to die for. Great service too, even when they are busy!

First off, let me say that Amelia's food is delicious. But it is expensive. I mean some items are worth the cost but not the chicken salad sandwich.
I ordered a bowl of cheesy broccoli soup and chicken salad sandwich, my total was $19.99. The bowl of soup was $9 which is ok because it's a huge bowl and is very tasty. But the lone sandwich cost $9.99. it was suppose to come with chips, but there were no chips with it. And the toast it came on was thicker than the chicken salad itself. All i brought in was a a 20 dollar bill, told the girl at the cash register I was sorry I couldn't tip, I didn't know a soup and sandwich would be so expensive.
My rate is one star because i feel like i didnt get $9.99 worth of chicken salad.

Excellent food, friendly staff. We stopped in after Amelia's was recommended by the staff at the resort where we were staying, and were not disappointed. The breakfast special (#14, I believe) was delicious, and our food arrived promptly after ordering. Or server was friendly and attentive, and took care of everything we needed.

I love this place, and the family! The food tastes amazing and is plated beautifully everytime. I'm partial to the South of the Border entrees. Be sure to ask for a tall glass of orange juice. Delicious

WOW, The steak was so tender, It almost melted in my mouth! My wife had biscuits and gravy. Tender biscuit and great gravy, not too peppery, for her. Excellent breakfast and lunch restaurant, the best food we have had in a while, eating out. Nice, clean atmosphere. Good coffee. Clean bathrooms. Definitely worth a stop, in Danbury. Thank you, Amelia and Julio, we will be back, God Bless you and your wonderful establishment!

Best french toast I've ever had! Syrup bottle was nice and warm. Toast was made from thick slices of delicious homemade bread, perfectly seasoned, with crispy edges.
