Great fish fry. We always opt for soup & salad instead of fries. So good. I've delivered to their kitchen before and I often determine if I'll eat at a place based on their kitchen. Jen's is clean and all her soups are stellar. Always consistent. Always a good experience.

It was a weekday, late morning and we decided to drive to Baraboo for breakfast. Our original destination was the Broadway Cafe but man, it was too busy and had a wait! We searched for nearby options and decided on Jen's Alpine which was also busy but we found the bar open and sat there. Service was great, food was a little slow to get out (crowd had thinned out) and our meals were amazing. Mine was decadent..the July special of peach pancakes.. felt a little guilty after eating it all.
Jen's was well worth the time and drive!

A fantastic lunch experience. A warm and inviting place where the regulars were greeted by name.
The server was polite and punctual but not overly intrusive.
The food was excellent. My wife had the butternut squash soup and was very good.
I had a french dip on a cibatta roll. It was nice not to feel like a pig for eating the whole thing.
It came with the best sweet potato fries I have ever had. Hot and crisp and well worth ordering.
Don't know if I will be in Baraboo anytime soon but I certainly know where to go for lunch.

We enjoy the food everytime we go to Jen's Cafe. Love the atmosphere, place very clean, food is great. Offers a variety of food and always consistent. Silverware is in individual paper fitted bags. We appreciate this. Always ask if we enjoyed the meal. Penny n Robert
