Great place in Baileys Harbor. Wonderful coffee. Great baked goods. I will be back again the next time I am in DC.

Went to Bearded Heart today for breakfast and coffee. I had a vanilla latte and it was thee best latte I have ever had. It was so good that after my partner tried it he got one too. The staff were friendly and the atmosphere was so warm and cozy. We also both loved our bacon, avocado grilled cheese. The side salad that comes with it was delicious too! I absolutely recommend this place!

Small place with no indoor seating. Expect to wait about 20-25 minutes for your order. If you order coffee, it'll be cold by the time you get your food. Be prepared also for them to mix up your order or miss items, which happened to us twice. They still require masks (one of the very few in Door County to still do so as of Memorial Day 2021) and limit the number of people in the store, so be prepared for a wait. Also know that they use the Apple cash register machines, but because they don't want you touching the machine screens, you won't be able to see what they charge you unless you ask, and if you want to make a cash tip versus the preset 15%, 20% or 25%, you'll have to ask for it yourself because they don't give you the choice.
Of the food items, the avocado toast is good, though they made it soggy on one occasion. Bagels, scones, etc. are decent, but nothing special and not worth the wait. Coffee is good, though it will be cold by the time you get your food order.

Everything they make is amazing. Lavender latte with goat milk is my favorite thing, but if you're not that adventurous, you can get all the normal coffee shop favorites. Bakery is amazing. You can buy Ruby coffee beans, which are delightful.

one of the best coffee shops in door county! their coffee is great, and they offer goat milk?? super cool. pastry is also good, and they have a truly wonderful location. had some kind of rude/cold service a couple times, but hey, food service during this time of covid is not a good time, so there's grace haha

Best coffee on the lake side of the peninsula. Line is usually a bit long and you need a mask. They provide if you forget. Great breakfast toasts. Try the white fish. Nice tea selection.

Went here for coffee and breakfast while in town for a long weekend. The girls working in the morning were super friendly and gave great recommendations. I had a caramel latte which was one of the best lattes EVER. For breakfast I ordered the raspberry toast, which is made with squashed raspberries, butter, drizzled lavender honey. All of that sounds like a unique combination and I wasn’t sure what to expect, but it was pretty delicious. The raspberries were fresh and Door County is known for lavender so I know the honey was made locally.
Definitely recommend stopping here if you’re in the Door County area.

The service was good and the facility was great. The decor was modern and fun. I had the goat milk latte with burnt caramel. I did not think it tasted very good and I did not detect any burnt caramel flavor. I had hoped to order a Mexican mocha but they were out of chocolate. Maybe next time.

Highly disappointed in the discrepancy between the menu posted online and the actual menu. No real lunch options exist, despite the online posting of sandwiches and salads. We ended up with yogurt bowl and raspberry toast. The Mexican Mocha was not consumable--I could not taste anything other than cayenne. Honestly the worst Mexican mocha I've ever tried. Tablespoons full of cayenne. Customer service also was lacking in the sarcastic response to our menu confusion and to my inquiry about the mocha.. When I asked about it, I was told to order half the cayenne next time. I'm from out of town, and there will be no next time. I rate it a 4 on the food we finally ordered, and a 1 on overall service.

Very cute interior displaying local art, fun and quirky employees, delicious coffee with some drinks you won't find anywhere else. The Beautiful Burnt Goat latte is absolutely divine. Really great milk options, especially for those who are lactose intolerant. Homemade bakery items are always spot on. Definitely one of the best coffee spots in Door County!
