We stopped in for coffee at the start of our drive home after a night in Stevens Point. While ordering our to-go coffee we saw the menu and how cozy the place was and opted to stay for breakfast. It was a chilly winter morning, but inside was warm and charming. The food was delicious, the service was excellent, and it was a great place to relax.

We stopped in and relaxed in the comfortable, invting atmosphere on the main floor. The owner was friendly and made us feel right at home. Dinner was AMAZING. There were generous portions and the flavor combinations were out of this world. We will be back!!!

Great coffee, delicious, fresh bakery items with a nice atmosphere. People were friendly and so polite. We will be back.

I've been twice in the past 3 weeks I think it's my new favorite restaurant in portage county.
For the price the food is probably the best you're going to find. Grilled salmon or tuna steak in spicy garlic sauce and a fresh vegetable salad and an amazing cheese biscuit for under $20.
Schlitz beer on tap as well as microbreweries available.
Main Street Amherst in a historic building.

Excellent coffee shop/restaurant. Every time we go there the staff are friendly and helpful and the food and coffees are delicious. Our daughter has dietary restrictions and it's difficult to find restaurant establishments that can work w/her restrictions. We are so pleased that they can accomodate her. Every time we are up in this neck of the woods we try to visit. :)

This place is great for breakfast or lunch. The food is very fresh, and feels like home cooking. Coffee is good, but prices for a cup and refill are a bit more then I was expecting. Overall I would recommend!

Was looking for a really great meal in Amherst (which is a village of ~1000) and was not optimistic. I expect a decent meal but limited options and traditional. No fish fry and old fashioneds here if that is what you crave. My wife and I were happily surprised. The atmosphere is snall-town chic. There is local artists work covering the walls. Service is great and most likely it is the owner. The food was very good and more sophisticated than I might expect. The beer and wine selections were very good (don't think they have any other liquor) and the local brewery was well represented.

The most amazing night. I had pan cook Walleye. It was by far the best Walleye I have ever had and I live in the home of Walleye Weekend.
My sisters family had invited us up to Amherst from Fond du Lac to go to dinner here and get the families together. What a great experience. We got to meet the owner, Mark, who happens to be a big Bucks fan, go Bucks. We also had great service from the rest of the staff, including our waitress/cook this night,a lovely girl named Grace. You should ask for her if she is there.

Love their breakfast burritos! Everything is good on the menu. They have Colectivo Coffee, I love the Blue Heeler which they grind for me. Super nice staff, awesome food.

Great Food (I actually am speechless about the food since it was that great!), decent prices also! I highly recommend stopping by this place that is more than a coffee shop (it's a full service restaurant)! Don't even get my started on the service here, It's AMAZING! Mark who is mainly working the bar & serving with another lady did a phenomenal job/made us feel welcome & we will return for everything I mentioned. Definitely go out of your way for this place!
