Lost River Trading Post

Very cute place. Lots of gifts/art to buy. They have a cafe with food and lots of seating inside and outside. Also serve wine and beer. I ordered a biscuit (comes with butter and jam) and a chai latte, both were delicious!

Really cool “trading post” with tons of artisanal beer, honey, peanut butter etc. as well as antiques and a section with local art including paintings and a couple of sculptures for sale. I had an oat milk cappuccino and it was legit. Friendly staff and friendly folks in general. The real attraction are the roads to Wardensville though - especially coming from Virginia through the mountains during the change of colors in the Fall.

Superb shop! The bakery and cafe provided high quality coffee and food. The outdoor seating area was incredible. Very relaxing feel. My whole family enjoyed the experience of shopping and enjoying our time here.

Stopped off at Lost River on our way to Roanoke and we love this quaint place! Had a great latte and breakfast sandwich. The staff is so friendly and the place looks fantastic. Beautiful artwork and antiques as well. 😁

This store is handicap accessible, and conveniently located in downtown Warensville. The have front and back parking which is great, and they are pet friendly as well. The staff is great which makes the experience even better.

They host private dinner nights few times a year too. A must place to visit.

Great place, nice variety of merchandise, including beer. Really sweet manager and staff. Tasty pizza! Definitely worth your time to stop in!

I jokingly suggested that they charge an admission fee because this place is SO CUTE! We were traveling back from Terra Alta, after a weekend getaway and insisted we stop to check out the town after passing through it on our way to the resort. We had no clue what to do or see and only found this place because it's right by the Visitor Center. I walked in because of the "Cider" sign and left with food, jewelery, art and souvenirs for family members. The trading post was like a trip to the museum for me and my daughter (9). The place has some "Good Witch" vibes. Very friendly staff, and the restroom was clean and extra cute with all the exquisite merch for sale.

A cute little country store that has locally produced food,beverages,crafts,art,and a selection of sundries. They also have a coffee shop,beer garden, and a small selection of baked goods and eat in foods. The staff is always friendly and helpful and the place is always clean. If you're in the area and need info about the area they are also incredibly helpful. Stop in and give them a visit, you'll be glad that you did.

Super cool cafe and independent artist gift shop. Large craft beer selection, unique bakery items, espresso drinks, ice cream sandwiches, and a small charcuterie selection. Mostly it's an awesome gift shop and art gallery with a wide array of really unique local arts and crafts.
