My favorite latte, real coffee drinks, that taste amazing and made just the way you like them. The food and smoothies are great too, definitely worth stopping. I prefer over a chain coffee bar drink any day.

The Blue Moose is the the only real coffee shop in downtown Morgantown, and that's a shame. While the food is good, the coffee quality is spotty at best, and the service is terrible. It's not uncommon during the morning rush to wait in line 10 minutes just to get a cup of drip coffee, while one employee struggles to make espresso drinks and smoothies while one or two others just stand around shooting the breeze and watching. The Moose coasts along because it has no competition. I really wish someone would open a proper coffee shop with good coffee, classy atmosphere, and good service. Even a Starbucks would be an improvement.

I loved my chi tea, and quesadilla...once I picked out the chicken. I'm unsure if they precook the chicken or what but the chicken pieces were disgusting.
Once I took them out, I rather enjoyed my quesadilla. Atmosphere was relaxed and there were many coffee/tea options. Service was nice.

Great coffee at GREAT prices!! There are snacks available as well, especially sweets for the sugar cravers!! The establishment is definitely kept CLEAN and WELL maintained by a friendly staff. Most of the staff is well versed in "Coffee Jargon" as well. This coffee house has been a well loved fixture of 30 years in Morgantown and has aided in helping countless WVU students and professor's alike push through the inevitable "napping urges" that accompany the College Lifestyle.

While visiting Morgantown, I searched for a local coffee shop to spend the afternoon in while I worked on some projects. When I arrived, the staff was nowhere to be found, I had to poke around for a couple minutes to find the barista. The decor is reminiscent of an old small-town burger shack, definitely not "hipster" as I had seen some reviews state. The furniture is uncomfortable and in disrepair. I usually don't say this, but I wish I had gone to Starbucks. The prices are decent ($2.20 for a large coffee), though, and the iced coffee I ordered is good. In the cafe's defense, I was not visiting during a school semester, during which I can only imagine that the atmosphere would be more lively.

This place has been an institution for years and certainly years before I first came to Morgantown. Great coffee and breakfast options. A folksy and artsy environment.
A small jog from 79 but still a favorite place for lunch on drives along 70/79

Ok so this place is amazing! I was completely clueless at to what I wanted. I saw on the list of flavors for the drinks "lavender". As much as I love to cook and make new drinks, I never tasted Lavender. The awesome Barista named Kyle mentioned Lavender with Vanilla Chai (hot)! It was delicious! He also bought my spouse her drink which was Coconut Chocolate mocha to our table. His positive attitude and willingness to serve makes him so super adorable! We will visit again...and again...I will spread the word about this magnificent local coffee shop. Thank you Blue Moose Cafe and Kyle for keeping it geniue and pleasant.
