Amazing vibe, just right and unexpected in an otherwise unassuming little town. Sets the bar high as a shining star of quality and hand-craft, whether you need a fresh mountain bike tire, or a dandy latte.

Great food, very cool atmosphere, and friendly staff

The Dirt Bean has the best coffee in Pocahontas County and the food is great. It's always a treat to go down and get great coffee.

Great environment. For such a quiet town, it's great to see what appears to be a popular place in the area. A little on the expensive side, but worth the premium for a local business. Quesadillas are fantastic!

Casual and eclectic. My favorite place to have lunch with a friend. Consistently good food and local beer on tap.

Look out Marlinton! Revolution has arrived in the form of The Dirtbean Cafe and Bike Shop! Excellent food! Cold beer! Hot coffee! Great local hangout! Only regret is that I didn’t get a T shirt to advertise for them! Can’t wait to go back!

What a joy to have in our community! A great breakfast to start a busy day at Roadkill Cookoff. Eggs cooked to perfection with healthy avocado and salsa. Yummy

This is my favorite place to get a meal, cup of coffee, glass of wine, local craft beer, and bike repairs. It is a cafe, coffee shop and bike shop all in one. My favorites on the menu are the veggie burger and the tuna taco. I find serving sizes to be huge and I generally share a meal with another and get a cup of the daily soup as well. No worries for meat lovers, you can find lots of meat on the menu. The veggie burgers are house made (not that frozen boca burger stuff), the tuna is cooked perfectly seared on the outside and red on the inside. You may ask the cook to cook it more if that is your liking. Fresh veggies are served with all meals at your request. The bike shop/cafe is located one block from the Greenbrier Railtrail so it is a great place to take a rest stop on the route, or begin your trip on that trail or one of the many mountain bike trails in Pocahontas County in West Virginia. The rest room is big enough to allow you to change in our out of cycling or paddling clothes. Lots of the local professionals from hospitals, banks and insurance firms lunch there. It is family friendly, traveler friendly and worker friendly.

This might be the worst espresso I've ever had. The grounds were pre-ground sitting in the dispenser and the shot took, maybe, 10 seconds to pour. Harsh, bitter, and acidic are only a few of the words I would use to describe this. If you're wanting espresso, do yourself the justice of skipping this little gem.
