Grindstone Coffeeology

I go to Grindstone several times a week. Great lattes, chai, espresso, cold brew and surprise pastries the family brings in on occasion, in addition to the snack bars, sandwiches, and other foods they regularly serve. Great little quick stop for a cup of coffee and something to get you going.

I visited the new Grindstone Coffee location at 816 8th St in Huntington, WV today and got exactly what I expected, strong espresso. If you like espresso drinks then you should check it out. It's good to have another alternative to Starbucks in town. Everyone go in and welcome them to the neighborhood.

Smelled heavenly inside. Girls behind counter very nice and friendly. Coffee was excellent, wished I would have gotten the large! Will return for sure!

Coffee is awesome. They are in the process of doing yard work and there is a nice upper patio.

Was very disappointed in the coffee. I could clearly see the bottom of the cup and it looked like a very weak tea. The coffee had no taste other than hot water. I expected much more. The mixed berry cinnamon roll was outstanding however. I hoping it was just a bad day for the coffee.

Excellent coffee shop. The maple latte was my favorite thing I got there. They also have an excellent atmosphere

I love local spots. Enjoy the owners and their involvement in the community. Their roast is very light, I really enjoy the red eye for this reason. Like the loyalty rewards program
