Charming shop with funky mid-mod decor and most importantly, delicious coffee served with a smile. Thoughtfully crafted seasonal drinks too! The Turkish coffee with coconut cream and cardamom is a perfect balance of bitter, sweet and smooth. Took a pound for the road, which they happily ground to my home drip specs. Going to make this a regular stop - and try the pastries - whenever I come to Charleston.

This is an adorable little coffee shop close to the Charleston Convention Center right off of the interstate. The staff were friendly and welcoming with great recommendations on current specials.

The spicy Italian frittata is excellent!
I chose a coffee on their specials list that had a mild yet pleasant flavor from spices and sweetened milk.

They need some more signage outside so it is easier to find and a tad more signage inside to show off their staple offerings. However, it is a great local option!

They have a small selection of baked goods, granola bars, and coffee beans available in bags.

Love the vibes of Mea Cuppa Coffee Lounge. It feels like you are transported to the California Coast, circa 1973. Of higher importance, the coffee beans are curated and well selected from highly reviewed roasters from across America. The drinks are well made with higher portions of espresso to sugar than a standard Starbucks drink. They also offer lovely pour overs, French press, and cold brew.

Great coffee, location, and baristas. Plenty of seating indoor and out. Vegan mills and usually some cookies. Love it!

Another fantastic coffee shop in Our Fair City. The same great coffee that Mea Cuppa has been making at the Capitol Market, but in a friendly, well-appointed setting in Charleston's Elk City neighborhood. Plenty of nearby parking (metered, but only a quarter/hour) and within walking distance of several great stores, shops, and restaurants. Baked goods from local bakeries are usually available and other treats, like frittatas, often are as well.

Go there.

Mea Cuppa is one of my all-time favorite coffee shops and a great addition to the Charleston community. Their specialty drinks are tasty and inventive, the staff is the friendliest around, and the 1960s mid-century style interior creates a fun, inviting environment for hanging out. Additional bonus: Every pastry I've ever tried at Mea Cuppa has been phenomenal.

Mea Cuppa is amazing! This was my first time in their newer location, and the atmosphere is perfect! Their coffee really focuses on the rich flavor of coffee rather than the sweetness, but oh my goodness it is amazing! I can't wait to come back!

Mea Cuppa Coffee Lounge is such a gem in Charleston. A nice place to get a simple cup of coffee or something more adventurous coffee wise. Plus they change around the menu pushing you to try new drinks.
